I recently took a trip to Toronto to see a concert and happened to stumble across this gem; the coffee and croissant were excellent. But the atmosphere overshadows it with a cozy vibe and easygoing people. This is a great place to study or socialize in; if I were local, I’d be here nearly daily. Will definitely be back next trip.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon because I happened to be in the neighbourhood. It’s such a gem! I ordered a flat white with a salted caramel shot and it was absolutely perfected. The store has many window facing seats so I was able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine. I was reading a book but I think it’s a great place no matter if you need to catch up with a friend or do some study. There’s also a photo wall with neighbourhood puppies! It’s absolutely adorable. ——-unrelated to coffee—— A couple of the customers sitting outdoor right in front of me appeared to be a grandfather with his two grandchildren. They were so content with each others’ company that I was reminded of my own granddad who’s no longer with us and I almost cried at one point. I had the urge to get out and tell them to cherish moments like this but I supposed they were already making the best of their time.
