This is my favourite bakery in a neighborhood filled with great bakeries. Their bread and baked goods are amazing, actually baked on location, and stay fresh for days regardless of how I store them. Their prices are shockingly affordable in a time where you assume anything well made will be expensive, to the point that I buy my weekly bread there now as the price is almost equal to grocery store pricing, but for bread and treats I actually love to eat. I went to have a coffee and ham and cheese toasted sandwich (tosta mista). Espresso was perfect. Added hot peppers to the sandwich and it was great! My nata (custard tart) was fresh, flakey and delicious. Service was nice and prompt. Nice people.
Came in on Saturday morning specifically for Portuguese buns, custard tarts and mallasadas. Great service provided by Paula; she gave us the warm buns that had just come out of the oven.
