Brownes is one of those rare places that has stood the test of time and still reliably delivers a terrific dining experience. It's fine dining but unpretentious. I've enjoyed every meal I've had there over the years and look forward to many more!

We all had a lovely lunch. Delicious fresh mains and interesting specials. Wine choices are spot on too, one of the best lists in Rosedale. Service was just right as well, great for business lunches. Thank you!

What more can I say about our favourite restaurant? Everything is outstanding: service, food, welcoming atmosphere, etc. Special thanks to Gerry and Peter for helping to make my birthday dinner absolutely perfect! BTW, the Penne Rigate with Sausage is so good, it ought to be illegal.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food .The service was very attentive and personal.We really enjoyed our server but I can't recall his name .We will definitely be back when in the city.
