We came based off the reviews and our proximity to the restaurant at the time we came. Upon entering the restaurant they have a cardboard box flattened when you come in. The restaurant was pretty quiet. There was a trolly of items right when you walk in. We were seated and given a menu. We ordered chicken fried rice, lemon chicken, bean curd and a chicken appetizer. We watched the server go to the trolly and use scissors to cut a bunch of the items that were in the trolly onto a plate. We had no idea really what it all was as she didn’t say and nothing was really hot. The chicken appetizer was cold and unenjoyable to eat. The lemon chicken was hot crispy and lemony and came from the back kitchen. The rice was nice and hot but not much flavour. I’m not sure if what was in the trolly really safe to heat as it was all exposed and nothing was heated. It was not an inviting place to dine unfortunately.

Very bland overall. The dim sum is good, but most other dishes lack flavor or are overly salty. They need a stronger chef

Amazing authentic Chinese but vegetarian, we will be back every time we are in the area, we had the chicken curry, black bean beef with bitter melon, and pork soft noodles, WOW!

I like their food. There are not that many of these types of restaurants around. So even though the service is not ideal.I would still come for the food. The price is reasonable.

The best Chinese vegetarian restaurant in GTA 7 dollars for this take away I love it

I would like to congratulate this restaurant to earn this comment from me for being the most rude restaurant I’ve ever been in my life. I seriously felt unwelcome over here.

Assorted Dimsum is great! Especially the fried tofu skin.

Great authentic Chinese veggies food. Decent taste and unbeatable price compare to other veggie chinese restaurants in the city. But do not expect any services here.

We rarely encounter bad dining experiences but this is one we must share.

My family has been a regular here for many decades. We visited this week and were shocked after the change in ownership.

The food no longer has the wok hei that it was known for. Very sad as we used to love their vegetarian dishes.

Most shocking was the main server/owner. We paid in cash and asked for change so we could tip our desired amount. To our surprise, she yelled at us for requesting for change and assumed we would tip a low amount. She then stormed into the kitchen and talked behind our backs to the kitchen staff, very loudly with the door open so that we could hear her.

We still tipped in the end, but this was very disappointing and made for a very uncomfortable and awkward dining experience. As we have restaurant experience, this was really shocking in how they treated guests.

Overall, we don't feel that this restaurant lives up to our Buddhist values anymore.

One of my all time favorite restaurants because the food is always delicious (the crispy stuffed fried bean curd sheets is heavenly) AND it’s generally quiet and you don’t have to shout to carry a conversation. The always available mixed “meat” dim sum is also a popular side or snack. Great place for vegan eats.

Food I would give it 3 1/2 Just okay.. The fried rice with fish was the only reason it get 3 star. We order the assort ben curd sheets taste stale. The hot and sour soup taste very vinegary and it have a weird chip in that isn’t typically find in hot and sour soup and it was unedible to drink. Just mediocre and most of the dish was bland. It need more soy sauce or something to flavour the dish. The customer service is awful and rude. The waiter demanded us give them tip more than 10 percent and yelled at us before receiving the bill.
The women washroom is antiquated and dark with limited light.
I wouldn’t go back to this restaurant and support them.
Don’t waste your money because they are better restaurants you can find.

Very curt and unfriendly waiter, sterile and plain dining room with boxes and supplies in the corner,. Food was okay with generous portions but everything had a similar taste.

Vegetarian options: Most items are vegan.
