It was so busy and only 2 people working, so it took them 15 minutes just to take our order. There is almost no vegetarian options so all I could eat were the vegetable dumplings which were cold and barely cooked. Then when it came to pay, they said they can only split the bill if we paid by cash, which was fine. So I asked if we could both contribute by card to the same bill, and they were so rude about my inquiry. I won’t be going back.

For starters the tables weren’t clean, but we were hungry and usually these older looking places have great food so we went for it. Got the pork bone soup(taste good but lots of bone little meet), rice with beef, and the fried kimchi with chicken in short horrible taste lemony like they added a bunch of lemon juice to cover flavor but still tasted horrible, told the sever and he acted very ignorant about it. Left still hungry. Will never go there again. Btw am not comparing apples to oranges. Am comparing it to the Owl of M.

soon broth was not very flavorful, just bland. Mushrooms and onions in soon were uncooked (fairly large pieces of uncooked onion). Side dishes (only 3) were okay. Not replenished during meal. No tea served with dinner. A bit costly for what you get. Wait staff were nice

If you’re looking for a great home-style Korean restaurant, Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu is a fantastic choice. Their soon tofu soup truly shines as the star of the menu. We visited as a group of three and ordered two soon tofu soups and a pork bone soup, which was more than enough for all of us. Though the soon tofu bowls seemed small, they were packed with flavor and surprisingly filling. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean flavors!!?

The kimchi soon tofu always hits the spot. You just can’t go wrong. Service is good as per usual. Price is reasonable. I just come back to eat after long time ...

The food was good and staff were nice. Food is good and flavourful.
The space is small and it is extremely loud which makes it hard to hear those around you. The menu is limited and the place doesn’t take reservations so it is first come first serve. There really isn’t a place to wait to be seated so it is easy for people to cut others. If you want to make sure you get a seat you should definitely plan on going right as it opens otherwise you will be waiting.
Overall, it’s a nice place but if you’re looking for more variety there are definitely other restaurants near by.

Been here 100+ plus since 2005. Over the years I have brought to eat here family, friends, relatives, co workers etc. Recently went on a trip to South Korea and despite the food there being really good, here is even better! Quality, size of portions, seasonings, friendly staff, fast service, you name it! My daughters love this place and ask me to bring them here every week. Definitely recommend

Nice and cozy spot in Ktown. Love the stone clay pot bibimbap meal which can be quite filling.
