I LOVE bulldog coffee. Whenever I’m in the area I made an effort to come here, so warm and comforting. The barista is so lovely!! Always makes my day coming here, highly recommend!!

Terrible customer service, rude for no reason from the moment you step through the door. Seems more like an inconvenience to have people coming in.

Best coffee by far in the neighbourhood, the owner is a bit of an odd duck but I love him. These people giving 1 stars need to take a good long look in the mirror..

Just walked in and asked if they sold coffee (since it's called bulldog coffee). The guy was a prick and gave me a one word answer...no. not polite. No greeting. No wonder they look like they're going out of business.

TLDR: Skip this cafe. Subpar pastries with atrocious customer service.

When I went into the cafe, I was excited to try the pastries and greeted the owner. However, I received no greeting back.

I was excited to try a croissant and the almond raspberry twist (which sounded unique). The croissant was average and the twist was not very good. Texture was stale-like and tough. The barista/owner was unkind with condescending and paternalistic mannerisms. There are so many other small businesses you can support in Toronto/downtown. I suggest skipping this spot.

Wonderful little coffee shop near TMU! I had to try the rainbow latte and not only was it beautiful, but it was also delicious too!!

Just had a sneak peak at something seriously drool-worthy over at @bulldogtoronto and please do yourself a favour because you’re going to want to mark your calendars.

@bulldogtoronto is going to be serving these New York-style cinnamon buns that are MASSIVE, gooey, and loaded with all the flavours and cinnamon-sugar. My personal favourites are the Pistachio and Marshmallow flavour. And yes, I got to try them before the pop-up drops!

Of course, you’re going to want to pair it with their new Iced Rainbow Latte.
I on the other hand, I stuck with the OG hot Rainbow Latte which is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also tasted great.

I will for sure return for their cinnabon as it is truly the BEST IN TOWN.

📍Pop-Up goes live Sunday July 27, 10AM till sold out
📍89 Granby St

You already know the line’s gonna be long — so plan ahead. And thank me later. 😏

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Bulldog Coffee in Toronto was so off-putting, I felt it necessary to share.

From the moment I stepped inside, the atmosphere was cold. The barista on duty was shockingly rude. Not only was I met with an eye-roll when I asked a simple question about the menu, but I also witnessed them being openly dismissive and sarcastic to another customer who had come in with children.

Customer service seems to be completely absent here. There are countless other cafés in the city that serve great coffee and treat their customers with basic respect.

My iced coffee was great, and my companions enjoyed their pastries. I am over the tortured barista vibe, though. If that's your scene an you actually like coffee, this is your place.

Very quaint little spot. Glad I saw it on Pinterest. We stopped by for their rainbow lattes and the owner was the nicest guy. The lattes were fabulous and the pastries were divine. Totally worth the stop.
