I grew up eating here since the last time I came with my dad. The staffs are very friendly and kind also I remembered the one of the staff here 😊

Fantastic host and great food. It came quickly and tasted amazing. There were also a fair few vegetarian options which were a great bonus.

The service was good, but as soon as I walked in, there was a distinct smell almost like boiling broth.
After looking into the menu, I ordered beef wrapped in bay leaves, minced shrimp. I want vegetable spring rolls on the side, and they did that for me, which is where the service was good.
When I got the food, as soon as I took a bite or two of the beef rolls, I could tell that there was something wrong. It was very gamey and off taste.
I think that it was probably because of the oil that was used to deep fry. The spring rolls had a similar taste, but it wasn’t as strong as the beef.
I went up to the owner and told her about The beef, she essentially told me I don’t understand Vietnamese cuisine that I should order something else. Even though I’ve been eating Vietnamese food for over 20 years.
Also, they use really thick vermicelli noodles, almost like spaghetti.
It’s my first time walking there, definitely will not return

Clean Vietnamese restaurant, with an extensive menu. They have a pretty good variety of dishes from banh xeo to bun rieu and more!
We just went with broken rice with pork, chicken pho, and the pork and spring roll vermicelli. Yummy!
Servers are pretty friendly and quick to serve us

Bun Saigon offers an authentic taste of Southern Vietnam. The **Bún Thịt Nướng** is a standout, with smoky grilled pork, fresh herbs, and crispy toppings. Friendly service, a cozy atmosphere, and fresh ingredients make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, traditional Vietnamese cuisine!

🌟 Tasty, No-Frills Vietnamese Comfort Food on Spadina! 🌟
Dropped by Bun Saigon on Spadina in downtown Toronto and had a super satisfying meal. I ordered the dry pork chop and tofu wrap with rice, and it totally hit the spot. The pork chop was well-seasoned and grilled just right — tender with a little char. The tofu wrap was a nice surprise: crispy outside, soft inside, and paired well with the rice and fresh veggies on the side.
Bonus points: they serve tea as water, which honestly felt like the perfect touch. 😄
It’s a casual, cozy spot with quick service and generous portions. Nothing fancy, just straight-up good food at a fair price. If you’re in the area and want something hearty and comforting without the wait, Bun Saigon is a great pick.
Would definitely come back — maybe next time I’ll try the pho!

I have been coming to Bun Saigon for over 15 years and they never disappoint! I’m constantly on the lookout for new Pho places that are authentic with an in depth list of add ins such as tripe, flank, tendon, brisket etc.. with generous sized bowls, good prices and most importantly a flavourful, aromatic broth ( their broth has a gorgeous star anise flavour ) and this is the key for me. Many pho places tend to have a rather bland soup base.
Their other dishes of Bun and Bun Rieu ( crab) are great also. The owners are wonderful also and always friendly. This place is a total gem!
