Been going here for over 10+ years on and off (started in around 2012 ish), and their burritos always hit the spot when the craving is there
The old man always packs with meat, most of the other employees are generous with toppings and don't skimp, everything is simple no frills service, and burritos are always loaded and delicious
A newer item that has shown up, the cilantro chicken (their chicken with a cilantro/mayo sauce), is my new favourite thing on the menu there

My friend, Eric, and I have eaten lunch here before without any complaints. That's why today was so surprising. We each order a vegetarian burrito but his was extra spicy and no onions. He hates onions. A lady prepared the toppings and gentleman cooking the protein placed the protein into each burrito wrap and labelled the paper bags so we'd know which is which. He got it backwards. We each took a few bites before Eric gagged from the foul taste of onions (his words, not mine!). He went in to explain that the burritos were mis-labelled. I could live with the absence of delectable onions (my words, not Eric's) and it being a bit too spicy. Eric stood there waiting for the gentleman to offer to make him a new burrito. They stared at one another and the silence was deafening. It was truly a Mexican standoff. No correction was offered. Eric asked the gentleman to chuck the burrito in the waste basket and felt as if he'd been wronged by a bandido. I agree with Eric. What do you think?

Don’t order the shrimp tacos. I got home last night after ordering them to realize that they had put a mountain of tomato and toppings on top of two small pieces of undercooked shrimp taco. One taco actually had 1.5 piece of shrimp
I under stand the price point but had I known it was gonna be so disappointing I would have just ordered something else

Vegetarian options: Ordered Vegetarian Soya Mix Burrito Bowl (Huge) received small. Limited toppings were added + no cutlery received even after asking them to add.

Lived across the street for a while during graduate school and it was my go-to for good mexican food. Portions were always perfect and food was always hot and prepared within a reasonable time. Came back today after years after some errands and still tasted great!

I do not recommend the place. They have terrible service from the lady who serves you, she is very bad-tempered, do not buy and the flavor is not good.
Burrito was juicy, filled with enough mango, veggies, and meat that you wouldn't need to order a second one bc the first one didn't fill you up. Im a fan! Thanks for the service and the food..both great.

Service: The lady who took my order was not friendly, seemed impatient and was not very informative. I felt like she was irritated that I was there or that she did not want to be there. It made me feel pressured when deciding. Presentation and Portions: I got a burrito bowl and the portion was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. For the price, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. You can get more bang for your buck next door at Ghazale. It was like 2 tablespoons of rice that she plastered at the bottom of the container. Really disappointing. Taste: The food is BLAND. I did not enjoy this. Burrito Boyz is much better. Cost: Very OVERPRICED. Other: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant.

Got a regular halibut burrito bowl via Uber eats and it was really lacking in flavour. They also forgot the guac and utensils :/ Definitely not worth $20

This used to be a favourite spot of mine, I returned there recently and there was a lady, who I greeted but she never replied, no smile, no good energy at all as a costumer usually you would expect when walking in and while ordering, it was like she was upset while preparing the burrito!?, 1 star costumer service, awful, I can just imagine if I made a mistake on the toppings, also the burrito didn’t taste as it used to. For me customer service goes by the hand with the food, won’t return here :/

Small spot big, flavourful burritos!
