Ouch! I had higher expectations from a “seafood”place. Now FYI i’ve eaten probably a good chunk of the ocean and eating and seeing what i saw there is unforgivable (blasphemous IMO) Let’s start with the good: order was ready within minutes, calamari portion was wayyyyyy bigger than expected. Crab roll was edible but not at all to delight, those frozen shoestring fries were yuck and that pickle smelled of formaldehyde eww. Nothing was fresh and i mean nothing. I saw them prepare frozen cubes of chowder. It was very unappealing. I didn’t want to see how the crab rolls were made that’s for sure. Save your money for fresh seafood elsewhere. Believe me…

Service is quick. I felt sad for the fries, feels like they could have done better cooking it. The serving size is small compared to its price. I would say it is charge to experience.

The grilled octopus po-boy was out of this world at this Lawrence Market eatery!!!!!
Comes with a nice side of slaw.
With tax it was 20CAD/14.50us and was quite the value!!!!
I only thought of taking the picture we'll after having devoured half, so quite large!

Got the grilled snapper and it was fresh and delicious! A little pricey for just the sandwich w/o fries, but worth a try if you’re already at the market.

The service was great, ordering was a breeze and the food was ready in no time!

Unfortunate location (tight and right by the door) and it can get quite crowded and confusing. Browse the menu and look at what's on display, decide, then line up.
The grilled squid is excellent. Be a little patient as it might take a while, esp on a busy weekend.

The lobster roll was flavourful and kinda bland but they do give you a generous quantity. Everything tasted great. Perhaps if I come in the early morning it would taste more fresh? Still worth the visit!

Many times passing by, I saw lines of lines people waiting to be served at this place so I decided to try, and treat myself
Long story short.
The staff super is nice, and I was greeted with smile.
But the food....is not there.
I recognized the cheap ingredients on the first bite...and no thank you.
This place has the attitude and prices of Saint Lawrence market, but not the quality.

Spring fried prawns flavourless and I was poorly later on that day.

Don't believe the reviews that say the lobster roll is great. It's chopped up so it has the consistency of canned tuna fish... so there are no chunks. It's not a large amount of lobster and the rolls we had weren't that fresh. If you eat here, get something else.

Also, while the sign says cash only, they will take credit cards.

Worst halibut and chips ever! Meat was moist and flavourless, halibut should be dry. The chips were shoestring fries! 😫
