I really enjoy this café — the coffee is excellent and the baked goods are always fresh and delicious. The staff here are genuinely kind, welcoming, and make the place feel warm and inviting.
However, one thing that really affects the overall experience is how the seating area is managed. The space is constantly filled with people working on laptops or tablets, often sitting with a single cup of coffee for hours. Because of this, it becomes almost impossible for others to find a spot, especially on weekends when it’s naturally busier.
It would really benefit the café (and its customers) if management implemented a time-limit policy for laptop or tablet use during peak hours or weekends. This would help ensure that everyone — not just those using the café as a workspace — can enjoy the space, sit down, and actually enjoy the great coffee and food they offer.
I love this place, but a bit of structure around seating and device use would make the experience so much better for everyone.

This ranks in the top 10 cutest coffee shops I’ve ever been to. I got a delicious cardamom latte and a sticker sheet because I couldn’t resist how cute it was. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There was a nice variety of drinks. If I lived in Toronto I’d be here all of the time. Dear Butter & Blue, please open up a café in Alexandria, Virginia!

Stopped by with a couple of friends on the weekend. It was quite busy but thankfully we were able to get a table. I liked that they have a lot of seating options, both indoors and outdoors.
I ordered an iced matcha latte and it was really good. I’ll have to visit this place again and try their food next time.
It's one of my fav coffee places. I liked the sweetness of the milk tea (not too sweet!)
But the place is always full :(

Bells and whistles. Pretty inside and a nice patio but the tea latte was mild in flavour. Might have to try their coffee alone and see.

I enjoy their pastries and London fog or latte, however I feel their matcha is kinda milky, and their chai is some of the worst I’ve had, it tastes like milk and cinnamon? Like watered down Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal that’s been left out for awhile.
It’s a nice space to chat with friends, but often they are way too packed. They do have local artist items featured which is awesome !
