Butter and Spice - Little Portugal

Ordered toogoodtogo and was so disappointed. I got four of their pecan buns which had no variety. They bled through the paper bag I was given and grease was everywhere.

edit: tried another bag and got a bit more variety and the pecan buns were wrapped. I appreciate it!!

I got my birthday cake from Butter & Spice and it's absolute perfection - Marchelle took my directions and made me the cake of my absolute dreams! I was looking for a local baker to make my cake and I am so glad I made the decision to go with Butter & Spice.

I ordered my wedding cake from butter and spice. Marchelle did an amazing job!! The cake look gorgeous and tasted delicious!!! The ordering process was very easy, Marchelle was great to work with. We had a cake tasting to choose our desired flavour. Delivery to the venue was seamless. Highly recommend!!

The vanilla sorrel and raspberry cake is amazing! Marchelle did a custom larger size cake for me and it turned out fantastic ✨ Everyone loved this cake and so many people asked where I got it! So delicious and looked incredible as well. Highly recommend!

Butter & Spice is such a unique and high quality bakery. I've ordered their monthly brownies a few times and always have a blast testing the new flavours with friends. the monthly brownies are always fire. decided to try a cardamom bun for the first time, got two of them and they were both undercooked and tasted very off!

My husband purchased a cake for my birthday party and it was unfortunately, terrible. It looked lovely, but was totally unstable and completely fell apart when it was being cut. The cake layers were thick and pretty dry, the buttercream was hard and crumbly. We tried letting it sit out more to let the buttercream soften but it never did. While it was not overly sweet, which was a good thing, the overall flavour was fairly bland. Worst of all, he spent nearly $100 (including delivery, not including tip) for a 6" cake to feed 10 people and not a single person ate more than a bite or two. Incredibly disappointed. Will not be puchasing again or recommending.
