I prefer going with the pros first, the food is really perfect, it is the best thing about this place. The atmosphere is nice and enjoyable.
The waiter was so nice, explained everything respectfully, and so friendly. They were a bit late to response but it was super busy so it's understandable and not very problematic.
But the bad parts, we had to wait for like 5 to 10 minutes although we had a reservation, even after that they gave us a table that there were lights from underneath, beside it. It was irritating so we had to wait for them to change the table.
Another problem is honestly, the portion was so small. The cocktail wasn't exactly as I expected I ordered an old fashioned, but it wasn't sweet enough for an old fashioned.
At the end, the food was that good that I am not leaving this place dissatisfied, but, it's not going to be my favourite.

Tonight dined at Byblos and while the taste was delicious, I was really disappointed with the portion size. I ordered the short rib, and it was surprisingly thin, more like an appetizer than a main course. There were nooo side dishes included, which made the meal feel incomplete. For the price, it didn’t seem worth it, maybe if you spend just a bit more (around $10)in other restaurants, you'd get a proper sized main course with sides included, which would be a much better value.

Last night, we visited this restaurant. The initial welcome was very nice, but things quickly took a strange turn. Our server informed us right away that we had to order at least five dishes, which felt quite odd to me to ask that.
For appetizers, we had tartare and wagyu lahmeh. I really enjoyed the wagyu lahmeh. However, while I was still taking my last bite, the server came over, ready to take my plate. It felt rushed and unprofessional.
For the main course, we ordered the short rib kebab, stuffed eggplant, sautéed greens, and fries. The rib had a nice flavor and came with a brown sauce I liked, but it was served cold. I asked for a replacement, and while the new one was warmer, it was drenched in vegetable oil with no sauce . The amount of oil made it unpleasant to eat. I decided to switch to the sautéed greens, but they smelled bad, tasted off, and had water sitting at the bottom of the plate—definitely not fresh. At that point, I was so disappointed that I asked them to take the dishes away and ended up only eating the fries.
Around 10:30 PM, as I was walking to the restroom downstairs, a server asked if we wanted dessert. I told them I was on my way to the washroom and would decide in a moment when I am at the table I couldn't understand the rushit was 10:30 . We eventually ordered the cheesecake, which I enjoyed. Fortunately, when the bill came, we weren’t charged for the oily ribs and smelly greens. However, as we left,at 11:00 another server shut the door behind us in a way that felt abrupt and unwelcoming, leaving us with a bad impression.
I'm giving three stars to the Atmosphere, thanks to the warm welcome at the start.
But overall, the rushed service, inconsistent food quality, and lack of hospitality when we left were disappointing.

Been here twice so far and both times for a special occasion and the food and service has been fantastic and consistent. The fried chicken is a must try. Will definitely be coming back.

Everything about the dining experience was fantastic. Ambience, service and food was immaculate - the lamb pide, wagyu beef kofta and grilled branzino being personal standouts. Will definitely be going back

I had a very disappointing experience with Byblos Uptown, which is supposed to be a high-end, reputable restaurant. I spent hundreds of dollars on a birthday surprise, and the delivery was over an hour late, completely ruining the celebration. For a restaurant that prides itself on quality, the lack of professionalism was unacceptable. I tried calling several times and couldn’t get through to anyone. At this price point, I expected much better service. If you’re planning something important, don’t rely on Byblos—they clearly don’t prioritize their customers or their experience.

Well if you thought the food, service or vibe would be anything like the downtown location you will be sadly disappointed, the service was beyond pathetic, 45 minutes to get a round of drinks you literally had to flag down the wait staff..that also in a absolutely empty restaurant. On the positive side the food is presented beautifully but lacks flavour.
