I got the popcorn chicken snack. Affordable, well portioned and delicious. It was ready very soon after I ordered too.

The space is small, but welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.

The ice cream is fantastic! Great selection like Sesame, Taro, Mango, and more. Such a great option for a scoop in the neighbourhood.

The staff was friendly and able to answer our questions. The food is ready to eat and portioned into your Bento when you arrive. You can pick one main and three sides. They had icecream available and the flavours looked really interesting.

There are three high top seats at the window and a small table for two in the waiting area.

Sadly the food was incredibly salty. From the tofu to the vegetables to the meat. I have attached a photo showing was was left after I ate what I could. Portion wise I feel the price is very fair.

Was here with a friend for a snack. That Taiwanese fried chicken was so good and the price was so affordable. Mango ice cream was also really tasty. Whenever I'm in the area, I'll probably drop back in to try the other food there.

It's 18 dollars for only a bit of food. The taste is also not there (saying this as Taiwanese). Will not go back unless theres some improvement.

I gave C-Block Taiwanese Bento a try after hearing some buzz, and honestly, it was just okay. Not amazing, not terrible, just average. The portions were decent, and the pricing felt fair for what you get. I ordered the braised pork rice bento. The flavour was passable, but the meat was a bit dry, and the sides felt more like an afterthought than a proper part of the meal.

The overall setup felt more like a Chinese mall food court spot, all the food laid out in hot pans, ready to be scooped up. It’s hard to tell how long everything’s been sitting there, and it definitely didn’t taste fresh. Not a made to order spot, if you’re nearby and want something quick, it’s serviceable. But it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit again.

honestly, I would pick this restaurant over any fancy restaurants. The atmosphere is so nice and calm and the staff greets you with a nice warm smile too. And don’t even get me started on the food. It doesn’t have to be all fancy but it tastes so good along with the street food feeling and everything is nicely seasoned and cooked.

Holy moly that braised pork is just absolutely incredible. Had to give 5 stars just for that. Green beans are good too.

Great price. Daily special pork belly + mapo tofu on rice for $10 is UNBEATABLE in the city.

I walk past this place on the way to the gym and decided to get dinner here in the way home. Incredible food, reasonably priced, and very quick service. 100% recommend.

The foods taste so clean and like home-cooked meals. The portion is great and the vegetables are so well seasoned yet not overcooked/undercooked.

Really recommend!

My fav lunch spot!! The food is so fresh and cheap. Too bad they don’t sell three cup chicken anymore, but all other items are delicious too. Even their rice is so fresh and yummy. I recommend getting an extra side on top of their $10 lunch special. My pick is egg+tomato. Their Taiwanese sausage is very smoky and flavourful, I’d like to grab one with my meal every once a while ☺️ everything is so good and the folks are always so friendly and nice ❤️❤️

My weekly go-to, great quality, taste & portions. Love the red braised pork. A real neighborhood gem.
