Madeline at the bar was AMAZING. Served some amazing drinks and always came around to make sure we were looked after. Ambience, music and crowd would definitely bring me back.

I’ve been to this location multiple times, and it’s always a great experience! We just walked in and luckily got a spot. Mike was our server and he was amazing! Super attentive, genuinely kind, and made sure our food came out right on time. He gave us our space to enjoy dinner while still being wonderfully polite and friendly. Already looking forward to my next visit! 😄

Cactus Club delivered a great dining experience with a stylish, modern atmosphere that feels warm, lively, and perfect for a night out. The lighting, décor, and overall vibe make the place feel upscale without being too formal, and the presentation of the food definitely matches the aesthetic.
We started off with the truffle fries, and they were easily one of the highlights. Crispy, golden, and full of that rich truffle aroma that hits you right away. The dipping sauce paired perfectly and made them even more addictive — definitely a must-order if you go.
The sushi bites were another standout. They came beautifully plated, fresh, and full of flavour with just the right amount of spice. Each bite had a great balance of texture and seasoning, and they tasted just as good as they looked.
The mains were all well-seasoned and satisfying. Everything had bold, clean flavours with portions that felt generous and worth the price. You can tell the kitchen puts care into the flavour balance and presentation, because every dish came out looking sharp.
But the best part of the meal was honestly the dessert. It was chocolatey, creamy, and crunchy — the perfect mix of textures. It literally reminded me of a Mr. Big bar, but elevated. Rich, sweet, and satisfying in every bite. A great way to end the night.
The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that the service was a bit slow at times, but the staff were still friendly and attentive once they came around.
Overall, Cactus Club is a great spot for flavourful dishes, beautiful presentation, and a dessert that absolutely steals the show. I’d definitely come back again.

The service was awesome and the e food was so fresh but worth the wait. Atmosphere was modern, but the best part of the night was the 6 layer chocolate slice. Definitely coming back for that.

The hostess was horrible- I had a reservation at 9, they didn’t sit us until 9:45. I asked for a quick drink at the bar while we wait which was denied. Hostess should be FIRED, they said they would bring a free glass of champagne for waiting- DIDNT!!! Thank god, our AMAZING server Sam came and made our evening amazing! She was very attentive, cleared drinks quickly, offered new without being pushing.

Went on a work lunch, we were short on time so didn't have apps or dessert but the service was fast! We were in and out in an hour. I had the med bowl (without rice) and it was delicious. I enjoyed the chicken AND falafels. We also got the pasta and it looked delicious too but I didn't try it.

Cactus Club on Adelaide absolutely deserves 5 stars. The location in the middle of the Financial District is perfect, and the whole place has that modern, stylish, downtown energy. The multi-level layout and the rooftop Deck with the retractable roof make it one of the best patios in the city.
The food was fresh and full of flavour, and the service was fast, friendly, and professional even when it was busy. Their Happy Hour is a major win — especially the Bellinis. They’re so good it actually makes sense why Drake mentioned them. He wasn’t lying. They hit every single time and are easily one of the best parts of coming here.
Drinks are well-made, the menu is polished, and the vibe is perfect for everything! Overall, Cactus Club on Adelaide delivers consistent quality, great energy, amazing cocktails, and an unbeatable rooftop experience. One of the best downtown spots, hands down

My husband and I ate supper here Nov 23rd. We are from Nova Scotia and came to Toronto for a Raptors game. Madison G was our server. She was amazing. She recommended dishes to my husband and he tried one. He enjoyed it. He had prawn ravioli and I had a cheddar bacon burger. We had salt n pepper wings for an appetizer. I had a glass of sangria. Then we had cheesecake for dessert. The food was amazing. Loved the music they played. Beautiful restaurant. We will come back for sure. The waitress brought out our dessert with a happy birthday message to my husband.

I have to be honest, our entire experience at Cactus Club was unacceptable from start to finish. We came to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday and informed the staff right away, yet it was never acknowledged again for the rest of the evening.
The food itself was decent, but the prices were extremely high considering the menu felt more like pub food. When a restaurant charges $80 for a steak, it’s confusing to see tacos and burgers on the next page. The pricing and menu concept just didn’t make sense.
Our biggest issue, however, was the service. Our waitress was never around. We ended up spending over two hours there simply because she kept disappearing. Every time we asked other staff for help, they told us they couldn’t assist and would “try to find our server.” A few even mentioned they were frustrated because she kept disappearing on them as well. Completely unacceptable.
To make things worse, a couple seated right next to us arrived after we did, finished their entire meal within an hour, received a birthday candle with their dessert, and left before we even made it to ours. On my son’s 18th birthday, that should have been us.
On our way out, we spoke with someone who appeared to be a manager. He apologized, expressed his own frustration about the situation, admitted we should have received a birthday discount, and took my email to “make things right in the coming days.” It has now been three weeks, and we have heard nothing.
We dine out often, and this was the worst service we have ever received. A once-in-a-lifetime milestone birthday was overshadowed by slow service, poor communication, and a complete lack of follow-through, especially after paying almost $300 for 4 people (2 of whom only ordered appetizers each, no mains and no dessert).
Cactus Club Cafe, you've lost our business, and we won't be recommending you to anyone except for people to stay far away. Do better.
