My daughter and I enjoyed their favourite blueberry scone and a coffee while we waited for our family to arrive. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a pleasant gentleman at the register and he helped me choose what to get for my pastry. They have plenty of seating and outlets for use if required and the big windows just think it’s such a nice place to have a coffee and sit

Excellent to sit out on the patio and enjoy the Evergreen air and the cute birds that hang around. An oasis within an oasis. Items here are premium priced I’d say, but what I’ve had has been well made. The “famous” blueberry scone lives up to its name, and is in fact, perhaps the best scone I’ve ever had. I can see myself getting this item every time I return. And the spicy ginger cookie, is indeed spicy! Only for true ginger lovers (me!). Be warned, that this place is naturally busy when Evergreen is busy. On a weekend afternoon, they run out of items and there are lines, but the staff is great and it moves along.

I got scammed and double charged for my order on Oct. 21, 2024 at 12:21pm. Not very happy at all. 😡

I ordered a coffee yesterday and requested sugar. They told me they didn’t have any because the manager didn’t buy it. I’m not sure how a coffee shop can run out of sugar.

I wouldn’t recommend buying coffee at this place

Walking around ever green brick woods and my girlfriend & I got a little hungry, Our first time visiting this little coffee shop would recommend to try it out!

Avocado on toast was absolutely Devine. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was small town vintage. Highly recommended.
I forgot to mention the BLUEBERRY SCONE it was amazing. Perfect consistency. Just enough sugar and blueberries. I would have taken a dozen home if I wasn’t on a diet.

The service was very slow and the new hire got my order wrong. Very cute atmosphere tho. The sandwich was hot but the bun was soggy.

Picnic is wonderful! A small group of us went on a Saturday morning right before the kitchen opened (11am) so we had a bit of time to check out the Farmers Market. Billie was absolutely lovely and helped ensure we had a table, even though Saturdays are incredibly busy there. The person taking all of the orders was so accommodating and cheerful too! The food and drinks were great - it was exactly what we wanted. The vibe is so chill and fellow customers are really nice. Even on a dismal rainy day, we had a fantastic time. Definite reco! Cheers Picnic!

Every time I went, the service was lifeless and unenthusiastic. The staff barely smile or make eye contact, even though I’ve only been there in the morning when it’s not busy.

Working in service myself I understand everyone has off days, but it’s still important to make people feel welcome, especially at the start of everyone’s day. Please do better.

Me and a friend went in and ordered some drinks, (takes two seconds to cash someone out) My friend paid before me and didn't tip, cashier says "No tip?" My friend didn't hear him. Anyways this isn't my problem you'd think, when I go to pay I don't see an option to tip and I mention this, then he said "Don't worry there are automatic tips" I left a little confused and when I checked my card it was 6 dollars for a 2.50 drink, what? Is that an over 50% tip? For standing there? And why force it on me when my friend was the one who didn't tip and I TRIED TO. Forced tips, literally theft lol. Might as well grab the money from my wallet since you need the 3 dollars so badly, obviously he deserved it, cashing out someone for 30 seconds is hard. Let's say it took a minute, 3x60 =180 dollars an hour is what he thinks he should be paid.

I had the best Southwest salad here at Brickworks. Martin makes this incredibly fresh and savory salad. Every bite was a treat! Plant based, light, fresh, healthy and yummy salad you can ever imagine. The sauce had some nice heat and spice which tied the salad together. ? Amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant after a nice walk in the park.
