The bites are fine. The coffee is so-so. The service is not good (which is probably what makes the food & drink so-so). On more than a handful occasions, the owner comes across as unhappy and not wanting to be there - so the energy in the place can feel tense and stressful. She can be rude and unprofessional - and I've seen this behaviour towards her staff (whom are wonderful and friendly). I've given this spot many chances as I've really wanted to like this spot and support - but ultimately, I can no longer. I gave it a few fair chances. There are far too many other local spots close by that have delicious bites, much better coffee and a much friendlier, comfortable and peaceful vibe :)

My absolute favourite cafe on the block. Daisy, the owner, is a gem of a human. The food is delicious! My favourites are the bim bim bap, japchae, and Kim chi fried rice. The egg on a bagel is my favourite if I’m in a rush. 10/10 been coming here for years.

This cafe is special. Run by a super-efficient team, it serves delicious, reasonably priced food and drinks with care and intention. Every detail from the menu choices to the sourcing of ingredients feels considered. I tried the salmon bagel and eggnog latte, and both were outstanding. No bells and whistles here just genuinely good food, personable service, and very impressive speed. It felt like a throwback, the kind of place that’s increasingly rare. It’s busy, probably because word travels fast. The vibe is friendly and unpretentious, which might just be part of the magic. Well done.

This place is a favourite. It's like home cooked, healthy takeout. Daisy has the best kimchi and great coffee too😍

I always enjoy the hazelnut lattes at this cozy cafe, and the options dont just stop at coffee and sweets, this place has all kinds of korean eats, like the delicious soontofu soup or bibimbap. Service is always friendly. Definitely recommend going here!

Had the kimchi fried rice and a latte. Food is okay and the drinks are expensive for what they are. I also asked for my drink cold and they made it hot. They didn’t fix it and refused to put it over ice when I asked for that as it was such a hot day. Other shops across the street make better drinks with kinder service.

It's great to find Korean food on the Danforth. Unfortunately I found the noodles in the bulgolgi japchae to be way too salty. Otherwise I really liked the atmosphere and the staff. Would like to give the place another try if I'm ever back in the area.
