慶豐冰室 Cafe le Majestik

Having visited this restaurant several times, I was really disappointed at this most recent visit. We placed our order via QR code (great convenient system) at around noon. Most of our dishes came, but one item was missing. We followed up and was told it takes a while to make. After finishing our other dishes, we followed up regarding the missing dish. One of the staff was kind enough to follow up, but one of the other ladies screamed “that’s been sold out!”. It’s fine if a dish is sold out, but it would’ve been nice if we were informed 45 minutes ago. Food is still good, but the service reminded me that this is indeed a Hong Kong styled establishment 😂

In 2026, this felt like a significant downgrade. Set meals no longer include soup or drinks, which are traditionally part of Hong Kong–style restaurant set meals. Given the pricing, we’re comfortable skipping this restaurant going forward.
And dirty chairs, difficult to use ordering systems. One of the worst

Used to like this place as a cha chaan teng but recent changes over the holidays have really diminished the experience here. They took away the drink and soup from their meals, and kept changing their closing times/opening hours on a whim (at elast that's how it appeared to us), which really changed the value of coming here for us. Now it's just not worth coming here as a cha chaan teng option. If you want their dinner dish set (worchoy) menu, then that's different - their hot pot dishes are good.

Drinks now cost an extra $4. Before, the mediocre food + free drink (just small cup of milk tea/coffee) was okay with the price. Now, the small portion and no drink with order makes this place a no go for me and all my friends.

The restaurant was clean and has the vibe of an og HK cafe back in Hong kong. The food was hot and came decently quick.
