I stayed at this hotel for a conference. I ordered a Latte to go from Anne. She was a delight so friendly and professional. The latte was delicious. We ended up having breakfast in the restaurant. Two options a la carte and buffet both had a good selection. I had eggs benny and others had the larger buffet (which included all drinks). It was good quality and good value. Later in the week we stopped by for Happy Hour and enjoyed $5 Mimosas and supper. Soup was good so was the salad and the smashed burger and fries. Definitely be back in the future.

I had an incredible time with my nephew at Café Nicole Bistro + Bar this afternoon! It was our first time dining there and I can’t wait to go back again! The food was so delicious!! I had the 5 veggie spring rolls and chicken tenders and fries, and my nephew ordered the burger and fries. For dessert we had the cheesecake which I highly recommend getting (soon as we took a bite we had to take a photo to show everyone)! Overall, the food was terrific but what really made our time there special was our server, Emily! She was so attentive and kind. She gave us great recommendations when we weren’t sure what to get and she checked in on us if we needed anything. I will be back again for the food, aesthetic of the restaurant (beautiful windows, decor and lighting) , and the kind service from Emily! 10/10 !

From the moment we arrived to the end of our time, she was super friendly and regularly checked up on us - which was definitely noticed and veryyy appreciated.

I don’t usually write reviews but when I do, I am very genuine and thorough when it comes to amazing service.
Today was just a regular day until I dined at Café Nicole. I am simply just a person who picks up on peoples character and vibe that they give off, I judge that more than the services I have provided to me half the time.
My servers name was Emily and I can’t forget her because she greeted us with such a big smile! She was just so on the ball and genuinely cares about serving us not even just me but others as well. I could see the urgency in her walk and the genuine care for our experiences which was very refreshing.
Emily has 11/10 service if I could give her that rating, and if I could tip her more I would! She set the bar for servers, in todays day and age where I often feel forgotten about when being served but she checked in more than less to make sure my experience was going great and I really appreciate that.
I would definitely dine here again and let others know to come dine here as well and if they get a server named Emily with a big smile, they’re in the right hands and to be ready to enjoy the experience she provides and the great food that the café has to offer.

This cafe is the gem of the attached hotel! My husband and I stayed here for four night this past weekend and had breakfast each morning in the cafe - I don’t even know where to start to describe the service. Exceptional is an understatement! Each morning it was very busy but the staff were superb! Very efficient seating people and clearing tables all while serving seated customers AND everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Excellent!! Would highly recommend just for the service and the breakfast buffet is great too!

Group of us wanted to go for drinks and appetizers during happy hour based on reviews and comments from friends on what a great place this was. Restaurant itself was pleasant and staff was friendly. But this did not make up for the over priced mediocre food and watery cocktails for happy hour that tasted like coloured club soda. Smaller sizes are one thing, but no alcohol or flavours in a cocktail is just expensive coloured water on ice. Appetizers were small and not that well prepared given prices charged. There are much better places for food and drinks at same price point nearby.

We came for drinks after having a lovely dinner somewhere else. Just wanted a few nightcaps. When we arrived half the bar was taken up with servers checking out, and then it took a long time to get our drinks, the background music stopped and started randomly and there didn't seem to be any cohesiveness to the music played between how empty, under staffed and the weird vibe it had, it wasn't a very fun vibe, or very welcoming.
Cafe Nicole was amazing! The service was absolutely the best—probably the best I’ve experienced yet in Toronto. The butter chicken flatbread was delicious, and the coffee was excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and outstanding service.

I had a fantastic dinner at Café Nicole during my stay at Novotel! The chimichurri striploin steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and the smash potato and veggies were scrumptious! The Happy Hour alcohol prices are great too ($5 wine). It was so good, I looked forward to returning for breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended!
