Loved it here, only complaint is the charge and additional $1 for Butter and $1 for Jam for the toast that came with my meal.

What a lovely experience. The atmosphere, service, and food were all amazing. I love that it was open during the holiday as well. The bodega bagel I grabbed was doused in some sort of butter or oil, and I could eat four of them if possible.

makes me feel poor but the breakfast sandwich is good and you get to make eye contact with strangers if you work at the bar by the window

These guys do not play games when it comes to cafe/breakfast food. If you're looking for a place this is it. Amazing coffee, pastries and brunch. Went with my friend for breakfast before going to the ROM then accidentally stayed the whole day inside instead just catching up and enjoying the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back, service was great, main restaurant and bathrooms were immaculate.

Food was incredible. The service once seated was great. Only issue was not getting seated for a long while, even though there were plenty tables available. Will definitely go back and hope we get seated in timely manner

I loved my experience at Paradise Cafe. The owner was amazing and my mother and I were able to have an amazing lunch. We enjoyed both the burger and the Bodega sandwich and will definitely be back.

My friends and I walked into this place thinking it was a dessert café, but guess what? They had more food options than desserts! Unfortunately, we were already too full from having had dinner elsewhere. The owner was super friendly and suggested we try the coconut dream dessert (house made). It was amazing! It had ice cream, vanilla cream, and lemon based sweet cream sauce topped with crushed pistachios and white chocolate. The menu says it’s for two, but don’t be fooled - it’s enough for at least four people.

Confusing experience for me that I’ll try to capture. For starters it’s a well enough designed space with ‘pretty’ food, albeit the bagel salmon sandwich was kinda flavourless.

For a cafe, it was very uncomfortable inside. Specifically cold HVAC blowing so hard, napkins were literally blowing off tables (it’s -7° outside and I just spent $59 on a two bagels and two coffees and they can’t heat the place?).

Secondly, and no diss to the staff working here, but institutional customer service sucks — where did all the interesting waiters/waitresses go?

That’s what this place is. Trying too hard to be cool without actually being so.

Good bread, mediocre food, and atrocious service that oscillates between inattentive and rude. Perhaps you should just stick to what you’re good at and just be a bakery. 4 stars for the bread, btw.

I was there on Saturday night and had their burger that was so delicious, then later I had an espresso martini and croissant 10/10 recommend. Our server Jess was such a delight and was so kind. I will definitely be returning

Cozy ambiance with the best server named Jess, wouldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will be returning soon!
