This is my second time here, first time I remember being extremely underwhelmed and shocked at how expensive everything was for how bland it tasted. Came back a year later to give it a second chance- not a lot of tea options, so I ended up ordering a simple black tea and it was $7.35- had to leave, cannot justify paying that for a tea bag in water.

I'm giving 5 stars to this café because it is unique! (My latte and the few items we tried out of the menu were also quite good!) It is actually set in a sort of gazebo built within the elegant showroom of design firm Atriani.
We loved all the details in this café: the repeated curved pattern, the soft palette of the room with matching covers. They do their own bakery. We loved the Bolognese crepe, the chicken sandwich and the orange cake. And left with decadent cookies to eat at home.
We found free street parking on Roxborough (good for 3 hours) and explored Yonge Street (a 10-minute walk away) where the fun store Putti awaited. On the way back, we walked through lovely Ramsden Park.

One of the most cozy coffee shops near Yorkville. The ambiance was quiet and elegant. The coffee was good and the snacks were delicious. We tried the almond croissant, orange cake and pumpkin cake. Everything had a unique taste and not overly sweet.

Our second visit: Asked for refund and left after 25 minutes without order being started. Workers had prioritized Takeaway orders that came in well after we had ordered. The cafe had only 6 guests and was barely full at this time. Employee requested we wait another 5 mins, but it was clear it would be significantly longer. Music was very loud euro dance pop that was very grating and did not fit the atmosphere remotely.
Our first visit earlier in the year was very strange. A manager was there and was helicopter supervising staff. staff appeared very tense and was doing random busy work like re-wiping the same clean tables to appear productive. This tension was incredible uncomfortable to be around.
Overall: it's very pretty inside, with ambitious menu but staff appears way too junior and sparse for the task (two very young workers handling a large menu of pastries, food and complex seasonal beverages). Prices are exorbitant for the service and overall quality, entering $25 territory for pastry and coffee

Until the first semester it was great. The food was fresh, the beverage is done on point. Today the service is not how it was, it’s becoming an Starbucks at least the service style. The remix going.

The cafe is really cute! It’s definitely has its aesthetics and is on the pricier end. Given its location and the vibe of the same, it makes sense. The croissants were really good!

Hands down my favorite coffee spot in Toronto. The specialty coffee drinks are fantastic, and the Nutella croissant is absolutely delicious — a must-try! 🧋🥐🤎✨

Cafe Bica is one of my favourite cafe spots in the city. It’s in the Rosedale area and honestly has one of the best interiors of any café I’ve been to in Toronto. Super soft luxe vibes with lots of muted greens, beautiful natural light and tons of plants. The space just feels calm and bright. You can tell a lot of care went into designing the space. They even have a separate laptop zone for those who want to work/study.
In terms of food and drink, they’ve got a great selection of baked goods, solid coffee and good sandwiches. I also really like their matcha.
Overall, it’s just a beautiful space. Highly recommend if you want to spend quality time in one spot.

Great coffee and drinks! Love salted caramel chocolate cake and roast beef focaccia from their fall menu. Also, their raspberry croissant and beef empanadas are amazing
