Cafe23 is a really beautiful place. Its a nice, quiet atmosphere with a single clean bathroom. The food and drinks themselves were okay. I saw a lot of reviews raving about the cinnamon bun but I found it lacking in richness. It tasted like someone tried to make a healthy version of a cinnamon bun, and you could tell. It was also topped with lemon zest which I did not see mentioned anywhere. I am not a fan of citrus flavours so this was an unpleasant surprise for me. In addition, prices were a little high, even factoring in the location. Milk alternatives were an extra $1.50 charge. That being said, if you can afford it, the patio really is a gorgeous place to hang out on a nice day.

The decor is very nice, and the backyard is a perfect spot for meeting up with friends! The coffee was good, but the baked goods weren’t very fresh.

Saw a woman behind the counter yelling and swearing at staff yesterday. Must've been an owner or manager by that attitude. Despicable. If that's who's profiting off my coffee I will take my money elsewhere. Staff was otherwise very nice. I feel sorry for them.

So beautiful I love the atmosphere, may look small on the inside but the back is so much bigger than expected. Very aesthetically pleasing

Beautiful and calming. The patio birds should be registered as service animals. The indoor cafe is gorgeous. Even the bathroom is gorgeous! The treats are decedent and make you feel special. Wonderful place to take time for yourself. Dogs are welcome!

This most be one of the prettiest cafes ive reviewed so far. The whole aesthetic of the place, from the entrance to the washroom, is perfectly curated to give a dark/academia type of vibe n im living for it. But seriously, when even the washroom is outstandingly beautiful you know you’re at a place that a lot of attention to detail is put in place, aaaand you can also tell by how good the coffee and pastries are!

The flat white was delicious, but the piece of resistance was that sweet and crunchy cinnamon roll (I believe it was whole wheat maybe? Idk, but it was a banger) and the banana loaf was so spongy and fresh!

The only downside is that there’s not a lot of space inside, but the patio is so pretty! If it wasn’t because it was raining that day I probably would have going outside. Overall 1000/10. I need to go back. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
