Hands down the best cafe in Toronto. Not only are the drinks delicious but the ambiance is incredible, if you’re able to sit on the patio I would highly recommend it, you don’t feel like you’re in the busy city at all.
Best of all is the service, I’ve had the pleasure of being served by Andres the couple of times I’ve been and his smile and chatter always make my day a lot better, that is world class service!!!!

Beautifully decorated cafe!! There is tons of seating too, and a patio out back. Got the cold brew - it was nice and strong and I really enjoyed the flavour of the roast.

I came here for the hype and it did not disappoint, cafe23 has quickly become a staple for my day during my week long trip in Toronto, I love coming here and soaking up the vibes, the decor literally transports you to another world and the patio smells amazing due to the lavender and rosemary that is growing. Plus the customer service is impeccable, during the small amount of times I’ve been there I’ve felt welcomed every. single. time.
I always come here for an ice latte or a matcha latte, and ask for Andrés! He’s the best when it comes to recommendations.
Will be coming back if whenever I swing by Toronto again

Cafe23 has become my favorite spot for coffee in Toronto. I've been swinging by for a while now, and this place totally backs part of my routine. The vibe here is just right—it's got a cozy feel with a bit of European charm. Plus, the walls are filled with photos, interesting frames, paintings, posters, and books that take you on a travel through time.
The patio has its own charisma, making it a great spot to relax, whether it’s summer or winter. I enjoy sipping a solid cappuccino there as a nice break from the city.
The baristas and staff are the friendliest and most polite people you’ll meet. Andrés is a young guru barista who’s always happy to help if you need more info about your caffeine intake.
Their summer menu is impressive! My wife can’t get enough of the crème brûlée, and my kid loves the tropical smoothie—it’s a go-to for us.
Cafe23 really stands out from other coffee shops I’ve been to. If you’re in the area, make sure to check it out. You won’t regret it.

This place is not worth the hype it’s getting in other Google reviews. I got the seasonal butter tart latte and all you could taste was almond butter. I couldn’t even finish this overpriced drink because the final 1-2 inches was pure liquified almond butter. It was thick, grainy, and honestly unappetizing. And speaking of overpriced, I paid just shy of $9 for this 10-12oz monstrosity. The shop itself was also packed to the brim with people (granted it was a rainy Sunday afternoon) and they do not provide prices upfront on the menu board.
I will say they have more unusual drink concepts and an instagrammable space if you’re into that sort of thing. Food quality and value matter more to me though so I will not be returning nor recommending my friends to try this spot.
