I recently visited this bakery to buy my usual red velvet pastry, but instead, I was given something else. When I pointed out the mistake during billing, I informed the staff that I purchase this pastry once a week and that the price he charged me was incorrect. Instead of checking the order again, he made fun of me as I was leaving. This experience was disappointing, and I felt disrespected by the staff. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.
Decent European baked goods but would've preferred a small pastry box instead of everything just thrown in paper bags. Friendly service though.

An ok option for a quick bite in the area, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. Our server only spoke Spanish, the pressed sandwiches were freshly made and warm, but a bit too oily, and the Portuguese tart was sadly not fresh.
I love you guys, but please fix the roof, it was raining in house when I was there.

A quiet afternoon with friends, a touch of Portuguese baking, reminded me of the fusion culture of Goa, Portuguese culture. The great sandwiches were grilled well. It took us to a comparison mode , remembering the bakeries of Southern Europe, Malta and Nice .
The service is great. A peaceful place.
Will come again, to sit and unwind .

What the heck, got a cheese croissant and it s heavy like a brick, something went wrong and they decided to still serve it to customers, so gross not like a croissant at all! So dense and not flaky. I have ordered this before and it was great. Tosta mista also had hardly any meat
This place is awesome!
They bake the best Nata in the city IMO.
The staff were very decent and polite.
Prices are reasonable.

Mold Issues Persist
During two recent visits to Caldense, I encountered mold on their baked goods both times. This recurring issue indicates serious problems with their storage and quality control practices.
