It’s highly rated because it’s unassuming and comfortable. The staff are very down to earth and I felt like I should invite them over to my house one night for dinner and drinks, and that they would be good friends with good stories. Both the food and service were perfect in every way. Highly recommend this hidden gem on Danforth that's very popular with the locals. This strip of Danforth is a little rough around the edges but the restaurant is lovely.
This place was a delightful surprise. It looks humble from the outside, but all food items showed they were prepared with care. Prices were very reasonable and washrooms were clean.
