Fantastic staff and phenomenal 90s music nostalgia atmosphere when I visited. Delicious and reasonably priced food. It’s never a disappointment at Campechano Adelaide!!!

I’ve been to Campechano on Adelaide twice now, and both times the experience has been spot-on. Their tacos are ridiculously good! Perfectly cooked, balanced, and topped with these little flavour bombs that make you pause mid-bite. Pricing is fair too, especially considering the quality and portion sizes.
They’ve also got a great patio that opens up in the summer, which just makes everything hit even better.
Highly recommend for your next Mexican craving/fix.

Hidden gems of Toronto restaurant, everyone who work here really nice to us, cozy and romantic. Must try 1. Ceviche, 2. Fish taco and 3. Tres leches cake.

A shame. This place (both locations) used to be amazing, with the best tacos in the city. About a year ago something changed, and their tacos have since been below average. There are far better taco places in the city. I used to be a regular customer, but I will not be back again.

The campechano taco was very salty. The chicken one and the crispy one were decent, but I had higher expectations from a Michelin bib restaurant
The Tinga de Res might be the best taco I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of tacos in this city (and others). The flavour is unreal and incredibly juicy. The tacos are a decent size as well (larger than the tacos at other joints I.e. La Carnita). They’re juicy, and full of flavor, though $11 each is a bit steep. The ceviche was fresh and tasty, it’s enough for two to share, ($25). I’d go back in a heartbeat, probably the best tacos in Toronto.

Really disappointed. I was told these were the best tacos in Toronto , not even close. As a Mexican, I can confidently say this place is not authentic at all. The only good things were the tortillas and the service.
The tacos themselves were just “okay” at best, and at $11 per taco, they are definitely not worth it. The food simply doesn’t live up to the hype.
Toronto has many other spots where you can get authentic, delicious 4 tacos for $20 that actually taste like the real thing.
Honestly, I’d recommend skipping this place.

Have to agree with all the reviews regarding service, must be a certain group of staff working at certain times that would warrant such negative feedback whereas other reviews are raving about the service. The food was great but unfortunately won't be returning due to the icy, unfriendly and frankly uncomfortable service we experienced during our time here. Yikes.
Edit: Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to respond to a review. We visited on Friday August 8 between 130-230pm.

This is one the best taco place I’ve ever been to. I’m vegetarian and I should say Coliflor and Papa taco was my favourite. 5/5 for food.
