A wonderful 5 course tasting menu and excellent attention to detail. Each course was presented explaining the dish. My only concern was not having a writeout so I could remember. A great experience.
We chose Canoe as a place to celebrate a special birthday. When I booked I shared my hope for the evening and the staff made everything come true. I wanted my partner to have a chance to enjoy our dinner with a beautiful view of the city and feel special. The staff welcomed us and prepared our table by the window, there was a Happy Birthday welcome greeting and then the service began. Our drinks, our food and our deserts were amazing. Very impressive restaurant! First the view is second to none on the 54th floor with views of the CN tower and the financial district. To me the restaurant felt like a place for lawyers, financial people and anyone celebrating a special occasion (birthday, anniversary etc). This is a place for foodies.
