My husband and I went for dinner for Winterlicious. I was surprised and delighted to find that not only was the food excellent but the portions were generous. It was a Saturday night and the place was busy. Even with it being so busy, the staff were attentive and the food was brought in a timely fashion. All in all it was a very nice evening.
Having eaten here many times, this meal left my entire family unwell. The calamari tasted of old oil and was overly salted, the artichoke was so overly salted it absurd, and my branzini tasted horrible. Our family of four had gastic issues that evening, and the meal cost $300. Will not eat here again.
We appreciated being seated near a wall where it is easier to hear, and Rob was a great and knowledgeable server as usual.
Disgusting their pizza taste like Chuck E. Cheese and there pasta and zero flavor it’s very bland I hate it here

We were very pleased overall. Two of us had the seabass which was delicious. It's not cheap, at $43, but I very much enjoyed it. One had the eggplant dish that she really liked. The only thing that annoyed all of us, which is not unique to this restaurant, is being presented with a tipping option that starts at 18%. This is on top of taxes. None of us used this option and did our own tips. To be honest, my math isn't great so I probably ended up undertipping. I wish restaurants would stop this practice. The service was excellent but I'm not prepared to tip that much. I was in the UK recently where the practice is to include a service charge. This is rarely more than 12%, Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Capocaccia and would return.
I definitely think this place is a hidden gem. The patio was very cozy and warm for winter, and the atmosphere was just perfect. The food was excellent. We ordered the fritto di calamari and the pizza diavolina, and the calamari was soooo good. The staff were also friendly and nice.

Booked this restaurant for my daughter’s rehearsal dinner, we were a group of 18 adults. We were served children size portion with no love given to presentation. For the price we paid it was very disappointing and embarrassing.

This is just an average Italian restaurant with the menu that you can find in any chain Italian restaurant.

First of all, thank you Margarita!! 🙏🏼😊 You are so lovely and were so patient with me also Luke was very sweet... The calamari was the best I've had outside of Italy, Greece or Spain but the scaloppine fell short, the branzino also left a lot to be desired, although overall a really lovely day and a great place, I will definitely be back to try the pasta dishes 🌞

Huge deep fried calamari , big enough to share with 5 people . Great pizza. Good value on the VIGNETI : Nero d'Avola Italian wine : 90 points Natalie McLean) and the BADIA: Merlot, Syrah Italian wine

The food is kind of meh. I've gone multiple times and every dish I get is simply alright. The staff are great and the place has a good atmosphere. A cute patio in the summer.

People have been recommending Capocaccia to me for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The service was welcoming and attentive - our glasses were never empty and we were never left waiting too long for anything. The food is delicious and comforting - top notch Italian!
This is definitely one of the best restaurants I've been to north of Bloor. I will be returning!

This is a neighborhood standby for me. I am reminded every time I take someone there who has not been there before that it is a special place with good food served by knowledgeable and accommodating staff.
