This is a neighborhood standby for me. I am reminded every time I take someone there who has not been there before that it is a special place with good food served by knowledgeable and accommodating staff.

The Calamari Fritti was excellent; among the best we've had. My wife ordered the Mezzi Bigoli E Rapini (a new item on the menu), and was disappointed that what she was served, was more as described on the menu. She was expecting a short pasta with pieces of anchovy along with stalks of rapini, and expected to taste the heat from lots of chilies. Instead she was given a sauce that was soupy and bland. I ordered the Spaghettone Cacio Pepe, and although it was prepared differently...

Great neighborhood Italian place for pizza and pasta with a decent selection of Italian wine at reasonable markups. Fried artichoke antipasto was particularly good. Our server Lucas was super friendly and very helpful.
