Burnt. Over-extracted. Disappointing experience.

Was recommended by a few folks, however my experience was below par. The coffee was so light, felt almost like milk. We had a pistachio latte and regular Latte.

Would definitely recommend talking to Barista and asking for a proper shot of espresso so at least there is some flavour.

The staff and atmosphere was nice though.

Worst cafe in winter, it it freezing in the back. They got 2 walls exposed to winter weather, 0 heat source in the back (only heat source in the front is a hung up ac, which is the worst heat source in winter u could possibly get, cause it couldn't heat up the ground anyway). I got 200cad solution for ya,get some plug in HEATERS!!!!!!!!!

Cute café in Baldwin Street, which was recommended to us by multiple sources. Upon arriving, we placed our order and got the lovely cappucino first but had to wait ~20-30 minutes for the pourover as the barista accomodated the group of 7-8 that came after us. That's understandable but still, I finished my cappucino before my partner's pourover was even made, so that didn't feel to great in terms of having a shared coffee experience. The specialty coffee was really nice though.

Nice seating area at the front with sofas but there’s a lot nicer cafes in the city for coffee and service. The cashier was nice but the barista seemed a little stressed. My coffee came out in a mug even though I ordered takeaway and that’s fine everyone makes mistakes. What I didn’t like about was that the barista just poured it into a takeaway cup instead of remaking it and did not say sorry or anything at all. I tasted it before putting a lid on and it wasn’t even hot. So I asked to remake it and he did, but as soon as he put the cup on the counter he went “is it ok now?” aggressively twice before I responded clearly knowing that I hadn’t tasted it yet. I said “I haven’t even tasted yet” and he went “yeah but is it ok to touch”. Who asks to remake coffee because it’s not hot enough to touch? At this point I was convinced he was being mean to me because I annoyed him in a way. I’m a barista too I’ve been in his shoes but this wasn’t alright.
