My husband and I went to charisma for our date night. We had the most incredible experience.  The service was impeccable, and the meals were exceptional. The signature lamb chops were delicious and perfectly prepared. The wine list one is one of the best we've seen. Thé sommelier was charming and very knowledgeable. Our service person was equally warm and helpful. Overall truly a five star experience!

Of all the restaurants in Toronto this one has impressed me the most. A lot of the other fine dining establishments have come to feel contrived, the service good but nuisances are often missed, and the food is often premade and mediocre, despite the hype. Carisma on the other hand is the real deal if you want the classic fine dining experience, in an elegant yet up to date at atmosphere, this is the place. Seating is comfortable and spaced in a way that still feels like there is room for intimate conversations. The servers are attentive, accommodating and genuinely friendly without, hovering or being over familiar. Proper cutlery accompanied each course, my pet peeve is this new trend so many restaurants now have with using soup spoons for dessert, there was none of that here, a fork and dainty dessert spoon came along with our dessert, and separate sharing plates as I dislike eating off a communal plate, even when sharing a dish. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious and dietary restrictions were accommodated without a drawn out fuss or sacrificing flavor. The ambiance is lovely, gentle lighting, Comfortable bench seating, indoor trees, it felt fancy without being pretentious or stark. The only thing I noticed was there didn't seem to be background music, that being said, I oddly didn't miss it, as the conversational hum in the room created a white noise that was relaxing, though I wouldn't mind a hint of soft instrumental in the back ground. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10, you will understand why if you go!

It was my first time dining at Carisma last Friday, and the experience truly transported me to Italy. This family-owned restaurant serves delicious, authentic food, and their homemade bread is incredibly fresh and aromatic. Carisma is a great spot for gatherings with friends or family, especially larger groups. Like many authentic Italian restaurants, it can get a bit lively and noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a first date—you might find it hard to hear each other. But if you’re there for the food and atmosphere, you won’t be disappointed. The service is excellent, and the staff is very knowledgeable. If you’re unsure what to order, just ask—they’ll guide you well. I’ll definitely be going back!

We loved our dinner at Carisma. We were running late for a show and they accommodated our entire meal within 30 minutes as we had requested a faster experience and shared our timeline with them. We definitely will be coming back to eat here again for the full ambience. Even in a short amount of time our food was incredible and our waiter provided excellent service. 100% we will be back!

Carisma has charisma! It is an extraordinary restaurant, with thoughtful versions of dishes that may be familiar to those who are fond of Italian menus, like I am. I travel to Italy often and in my latest trip to Carisma It was just four days ahead of a trip to Florence. It is the perfect sendoff
Example, as you will see in the photos, I chose a salad with mushrooms and goat cheese both were served warm, which made it the perfect appetizer ahead of a hot meal
I then chose a veal ravioli, and though I was expecting a number of large ravioli, I was served ravioli in small size – – though abundant and hearty. The bite-size pieces wre perfect for scooping up the deliciously prepared sauce.
Knowing the deliciousness of the menu, I went for a second course, an oven roasted range, free chicken. It wasn’t the typical type, split into and flattened, served piping hot as meat should be and crispy as one would hope. It was as much as I would expect for the alluring dish.
As you can see with the photo of the apple strudel, it is hearty, but not overbearing, and an indescribable tastes the edge to the ice cream.
Perhaps best of all is the staff. So friendly and inviting and helpful in every way. They are a pleasure to dine with. They are what give Carisma charisma.
