Carisma had been our 'go to ' favourite restaurant when we lived in the King/ Adelaide area several years ago and going back to celebrate a milestone anniversary this week, we were not disappointed ...still the fabulous food we remembered. It has recently undergone a complete renovation and it is lovely !! A wonderful, welcoming and comfortable ambience and seating that you are reluctant to leave behind. The owners are lovely and one of them quietly visits each table of guests... and...they do help their wonderful staff serve when meals are ready to be served and the restaurant is busy. WE highly recommend it.

Luis was an amazing server, he made the perfect accommodations for my girlfriends birthday and served us super attentively! Rare to have a waiter who seems to really care :)
We also got a free ice cream scoop for her birthday which was nice. Food was great, the daily special australian striploin steak was awesome.

Fantastic evening out. Osso Bucco was amazing, spaghettini was a hit but the real must have was the crème brûlée! Staff were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for an special celebration.

This is one of me and my sister's absolute favourite restaurants to go to in Toronto. As proof, we went there tonight (it is our birthdays today) for dinner-we are twins, in case you are wondering...again! Everything about the restaurant is outstanding. As far as the food is concerned, we both ordered the same things we ordered last time. We both started with their Caesar salad, which is the best one I've had since the time my family and I visited Le Lavandou in the French Riviera. Wonderful. It is technically not on the dinner menu (only the lunch one), but you can order it anyway. It's well worth it. The bread served is absolutely yummy! For the main course I had the "Galetto Al Mattone" (Oven-Roasted Free-Range Chicken, White Wine Lemon Herb Jus). I also added a side of sauteed mushrooms. My sister had the "Vitello Limone Or Porcini" (Veal Scaloppine, White Wine & Lemon Or Veal Scaloppine, Porcini Mushroom Sauce)-my sister chose the former. Both were just as delish as the last time! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! For dessert, I ordered the "Torta Di Ricotta" (Classic Italian Cheesecake with Strawberry Compote) and my sister ordered the "Strudel Classico" (Apple Pear Strudel with House-Made Vanilla Bean Gelato)-both of which we shared! The ambiance and the service were terrific (top-notch) and we had been offered (and accepted) one of the semi-circular tables that happened to be at the front of the restaurant with a street view. That was a nice touch considering we were only two people for a table that would easily fit four people. All in all it was, yet again, a wonderful experience all round. We both will definitely be going back! Pricewise, for what you get, the prices are not cheap but well, well worth it! I told my sister and the nice lady who served us (one of the owners?) that if I ever win the lottery, we'll be going there for dinner once a week!!! So, for any and all occasions, keep this place at/near the top of your list. You won't regret it! They cater too!

A real hidden gem! I love supporting local businesses, and this one really impressed me. The owner’s service was excellent, making the whole experience special. The food was outstanding definitely a 10/10.
