This is one of me and my sister's absolute favourite restaurants to go to in Toronto. As proof, we went there tonight (it is our birthdays today) for dinner-we are twins, in case you are wondering...again! Everything about the restaurant is outstanding. As far as the food is concerned, we both ordered the same things we ordered last time. We both started with their Caesar salad, which is the best one I've had since the time my family and I visited Le Lavandou in the French Riviera. Wonderful. It is technically not on the dinner menu (only the lunch one), but you can order it anyway. It's well worth it. The bread served is absolutely yummy! For the main course I had the "Galetto Al Mattone" (Oven-Roasted Free-Range Chicken, White Wine Lemon Herb Jus). I also added a side of sauteed mushrooms. My sister had the "Vitello Limone Or Porcini" (Veal Scaloppine, White Wine & Lemon Or Veal Scaloppine, Porcini Mushroom Sauce)-my sister chose the former. Both were just as delish as the last time! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!! For dessert, I ordered the "Torta Di Ricotta" (Classic Italian Cheesecake with Strawberry Compote) and my sister ordered the "Strudel Classico" (Apple Pear Strudel with House-Made Vanilla Bean Gelato)-both of which we shared! The ambiance and the service were terrific (top-notch) and we had been offered (and accepted) one of the semi-circular tables that happened to be at the front of the restaurant with a street view. That was a nice touch considering we were only two people for a table that would easily fit four people. All in all it was, yet again, a wonderful experience all round. We both will definitely be going back! Pricewise, for what you get, the prices are not cheap but well, well worth it! I told my sister and the nice lady who served us (one of the owners?) that if I ever win the lottery, we'll be going there for dinner once a week!!! So, for any and all occasions, keep this place at/near the top of your list. You won't regret it! They cater too!

It's a neighbourhood gem! Always a pleasant experience. Great service - Sasha always has great recommendations and looks after all his guests. Food is delicious. A must visit!

always good food at Carisma, the staff is always kind and engaging. They appear to have many of their staff able to speak italian, which adds some flavour to the dining experience as you are eating Italian food. I fully enjoy dining at Carisma.

Terrible time. Came to Toronto with friends and a great evening out. Female waitress recommended our app, and main course. We wanted to order something different. The waitress was so rude, she won't talk to us. At the end of the night, she gave us one bill when we asked for 3 separate bills. She said that the machine won't let her divide it up and for us to calculate it ourselves. Very disappointed with our evening out.... Will not be back and will diffinately not be recommending this restaurant to other people.

Had my birthday dinner here with my fiance and it was amazing! They can accommodate gluten free which is one of the big reasons we picked this place because I’m celiac. My main course was the pasta del giorno, it was gf penne with butter, parm and shaved black truffle and it was one of the best things I have ever tasted. From the first bite, I was in heaven! Aside from the great food and wine, the service was outstanding! It was a busy Saturday night but we never felt it because he was so attentive. This is true Italian food and hospitality, we will be back! Also please put that truffle pasta on the menu!!!

Server took plates so fast but the food was slow. It was noisy because the table distance was so close, i can’t hear my friend’s voice I want to eat bread slowly but the server took away my plates and talk to me that i ate bread so slowly. I felt bad.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The server was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I absolutely loved the lychee martini, and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection, full of flavor. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very inviting and pleasant, adding a personal touch to our evening. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be back!
you need to update your web site, your current menu posted is outdated and grossly under priced. I understand there’s been some heavy inflation recently. prices are marked as much as 200 to 300% cheaper on your website big difference that’s worthy of a one star review. i paid $36 for a small ball of cheese with 3 slices of tomato’s

Excellent service... met immediately on entering and escorted to our table. Lovely being asked what is your drink of choice and would we like to order one. Also offered an Italian variety of my normal red wine. Good serving size of appetizers and our entree's. Flavours finished well on the palate. We passed on dessert, however all choices read delicious.
