Thirty Restaurant and Lounge

Always a staple when we come to Toronto (from west Sarnia Ontario areas) - never had anything short of amazing food and service here!

Food was pretty delicious, we popped in for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. We were also the only ones there at the time, so service was fantastic.

Great price and amazing service plus kids friendly, family friendly I recommend it very much.

Mediocre not worth the price

Hello, if I could choose ZERO stars as my review, given the terrible experience I had to endure this evening… I would! Tonight, we drove over 4 hours directly to your hotel and it was NOT what we were guaranteed or expecting. When we made the reservation I was very clear that I’m in a wheelchair and that meant 2 things were important. #1 a bath tub, #2 parking. I was put on hold while the receptionist “double checked” that these requirements would be met. Once she received approval and guaranteed my needs medically would be accommodated, I reserved the room. It is now after midnight!!! My partner is still frantically searching the city for somewhere to park because upon arrival/check in we were told both parking garages would not accommodate us! The receptionist was very polite and tried her best to help (thank you Mikie) she gave us the room key so that I could get settled while we looked for parking. Upon going to the room… NO Bathtub!! Had to go back to front desk and at this point I’m exhausted and asked to speak to a manager. If I would have had my important questions answered truthfully, I’m sure we would be in a comfy bed by now and not still going through this “nightmare on 30 Carlton Street!” Instead, no manager to help the situation. Most likely because they’re sleeping in a bed right now, while their “valued guests/members” are NOT. It’s bad enough to experience and endure all the obstacles that someone without medical conditions would never have to… but to be completely neglectful and not providing an environment for all guests, to enjoy their stay with this hotel (even though they guaranteed all needs would be met) is HORRIFIC. Shame on you. This is NOT the review I planned to leave after this stay. DEVASTATING to say the least.

We had booked Thanksgiving dinner today. The food was good, pumpkin soup, turkey and pumpkin pie. The service was very nice at first, but when it came to the payment process the tide turned. The bill was very high $110 and we wanted to tip $5. But she always put 10% on the card payment machine.
When we pointed this out to her, she canceled the payment 3 times in a row. When we paid in cash we left a $3 tip. But she didn't touch the money and said $3 is NOTHING. And if we weren't happy with the service, that would be okay.
Well, good food but unfortunately not good because of this experience.

Lobster Ravioli with Shrimp… BEST I’ve ever had… shrimp cooked to perfection

Had to finish with NewYork Cheese Cake..

Friendly gentlemen.
But sorry after more than 30 mins waiting for food then within 10 minutes while I was still eating my food, the bill was brought to my face part wasn’t pleasant.

We were staying at the hotel at this location and decided to try Thirty Restaurant and Lounge. We were pleasantly surprised!! Dinner was absolutely delicious. My husband's steak was tender and cooked to perfection. My Lobster and Shrimp Rigatoni was flavourful and delightful. Highly recommend. Prices are also fair and portions are large.
