Had a good experience here. We got coffee for takeaway and they opened just for us. Thanks Vee for helping us out
Great ambience
Great food.
Great service by Server (Elisa).
Bit pricy but great location and great service makes up for it.
We sat inside and ordered fish and chips (with an extra fish) and a beer. She was fast in getting the cutlery and the sauces. She was warm and welcoming in her approach.
The servers here were extremely kind and helpful. I ordered a burger off the kids menu, and the portion was fairly large, which was great!! The fries tasted homemade, perfectly salted. Great place to stop by and eat at.

- sorry we are closed? Never again
This cute place is great is you need to get grab a bite and a drink in the island! They got a lovely patio that can fit lots of peeps. Astha was our server and despite being 7 people, she effortlessly took care of us, always with such great vibes! I’ll be back.!
Loved the food a lot. I also liked the service provided by Astha 😊😍
Terrible Experience at Carousel Café – Never Again
I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Carousel Café on Centre Island was truly awful. We ordered the BBQ chicken wings, and they were borderline inedible. The taste was off — like spoiled or improperly stored meat — and shockingly, they were undercooked, almost raw in the center. Completely unacceptable and unsafe.
To make matters worse, the cocktail I ordered was bland and watery. It tasted like juice with zero trace of tequila, despite being listed as a proper cocktail.
For a place in such a prime location, this was a massive disappointment. Definitely not worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Stay away if you care about food quality and basic hygiene standards.
Not sure who came up with the name of Carousel „Café“ because this is a lie - we strolled in at 3:30 p.m. on a weekday hoping to be able to enjoy a coffee and some drinks on the terrace. Wrong! The manager informed us that we would have to order food if we wanted to sit outside. Mind you, inside the restaurant all tables were empty and on the terrace not even a third of tables were occupied.
Food taste is not bad, but not worth
Only thing they have is a nice spot and cold Beer.
Nachos was so basic and the cheese was sticking to the paper

Manager very unkind because we only wanted to order coffee and cake at 11 o'clock in the morning. Walks around with a grumpy face and snaps at people. That guy is not suitable for the catering industry. What a mockery.
At least waitresses do their best.

My overall experience was good. This café is situated near the amusement park on Toronto's Centre Island. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant views of the surrounding waterway. My server/waitress was excellent - she was very attentive, prompt, and friendly. But the staff member I initially encountered (to be seated at a table) did not exhibit any of these traits - and it did not appear to be because the place was busy. Those like her would benefit from learning how pleasant welcomes and fond farewells take mere seconds to provide and are some of the most important aspects of customer service. In-terms of food quality the Caesar Salad with chicken was very flavourful and equally good in quantity and value. Their coffee was also great and hit the spot.

Just awful. It’s a shame because the location is beautiful and the wait staff are totally fine, but the food was overpriced and the portions were tiny.
To top it all off, the fish in our order of fish and chips was literally raw and ice cold to the touch. Do not waste your time and money here. The didn’t even have the decency to refund the whole order of fish and chips.

This cool café was on Toronto Island, but unfortunately, we couldn’t use it. It was crowded, and we wanted coffee, but they didn’t have any inside and only served it to-go. We ended up skipping it, but it had a nice view and looked really charming.

Great little place in a fantastic location. On a nice day, it can’t be beat. Had lunch here with family after a lovely day spent on the island. Food options are decent and portions generous and priced accordingly. Would come here again if on the island.
