It is small but very nice restaurant with delicious food and wine, friendly and attentive staff. My husband and I celebrated our Anniversary there and it was just amazing ( if you like quiet place).

My fav restaurant. Always delicious, always something new, and always a great experience. Sad you're moving, but excited for what's next!

Cava is a tapas restaurant located in mid-town Toronto. It is a small and unique restaurant, with a romantic decor. I have to give a bonus point to the waiter, he gave us some recommendations since this is the first time. We ordered 4 pieces of "supergilda", which is sardines with olives and top of a small piece of toast. A very well tasted appertizer starter. Then we had the eggplant with quesi fresco, and maitake mushroom with sherry and mint. Both are very special to me, because the combination of flavour are so "new" to me! The main courses are sablefish with black rice, as well as the seafood panella. The panella is not on the menu, but you can ask the waiter to take the order. The panella is good, but not great, bc the shrimp is not very fresh. The sablefish is nothing too stand out, it did not give me a "wow" factor. Overall, I would say it is a nice place for a date, or for a drink with some small dishes.

Most recently went to this neighborhood gem as a party of 6 to have an adventurous dinner with family. Of course we had the "trust me" menu. The number of dishes and the portions were perfect. Our waiter intuitively knew just how much the table needed without anything going to waste. For a favourite dish, the table was divided between Roasted Sablefish with Black Rice and Collard Greens and the St. Brigid's Pasture Beef (an intense, seasoned pie with a flaky, rich crust and chunks of lean meat). The star of the show, however was the wine. Our sommelier deserves a special note of thanks for introducing me to Vinatigo 2017 Gual from Tenerife. The concentrated tropical flavours and smoky top notes ended buttery on the palate with a long-lasting finish. I can almost taste it now. I am going to miss this unassuming midtown fixture but will now finally try sister restaurants Atlas and Chabrol. You have been great!

Great spot. Excellent wine / food

I have been here a few times. The food is average and the portions are very small. The prices are expensive for what you are served. This is a spot for a quick nibble and and glass of wine. It's definitely not one of Toronto's top restaurants.

Great quiet atmosphere. Amazing tapas and best wine list in the area if not town... Superb organic local meat options. Pork and beef especially

This restaurant serves tapas. Very creative dishes. Every dish is like a piece of art. Please do yourself a favour and order soft cheese. That cheese was highlight of our dinner

Oh. My. Lord. One of THE best dining experiences I have ever had in the 15 years of living in Toronto. The staff were absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and helpful. They knew the food and wine selection and pairings with the dishes.

Incredible food with impeccable and personable service. Cava is a true 5 star fine dining experience, worth every penny. They were extremely accommodating to my dietary restrictions and all of the dishes the chef prepared for me were amazing. Each dish had the perfect combinations of flavors and textures, everything complimented each other beautifully. The recommended wines, cava, and liquors were delicious and were great accompaniments to the dishes.
