I made a reservation here for my partner for his 30th birthday. He loves whiskey and we basically celebrate his birthday in a similar manner every year where we will choose a restaurant and make a reso for us and about 10-12 of our friends. Having been doing this for multiple years this was definitely our group’s worst experience.

TLDR: the food was inconsistent, the vibe was weird, the server was nice but delivered drinks to the table while we were on the tour (they were aware that we were on the tour) resulting in our drinks being unattended for over 15mins (safety concern). The DJ hates ears and loves Pitbull’s greatest hits. This place is trying hard to be a King W establishment and is falling miles short.

1. The service: our server was nice and the historian was also pretty interesting and knew quite a number of facts about the building/the whiskey they were selling. The tunnel is fine but our group mainly liked it because it let us get away from the DJ that was blasting music to an empty dance floor. In terms of food my partner enjoyed his stake and the pizzas looked alright but nothing to really write home about. Some members of our group ended up getting their drinks served to the table while we were on the tour which wasn’t ideal as it meant our drinks were unattended for over 15mins at a point when the place was starting to get busier (this is a massive safety concern as anyone and their mother had access to our drinks). The waitress knew we were on the tour and they could have held off on delivering the drinks until we were back at our table. When it came time for our group to leave it took us over 30mins to get to pay our tabs despite asking for the bills in advance/multiple times. To be transparent our group struggled to meet the min spend but understanding that that was a possibility I was not opposed to paying the difference and told the waitress as such.

2. The food: Some of the dishes left more to be desired I personally ordered the gnocchi with chicken which should have been advertised as edamame with a side of gnocchi and three small pieces of chicken (safe to say I did not finish my meal) and at $36 it was one of the worst dishes I’ve had in a restaurant. The calamari was drenched in soy sauce which made it too salty for some of the people in our group. A lot of people from our group did not finish their mains but this could also be attributed to portion size.

The drinks: for a whiskey bar you’d expect this place to have more whiskey centred cocktails this was not the case and a lot of our group found the cocktails to be tasty but quiet a bit on the weak side.

The atmosphere: the vibe in this place was kind of weird. We came in as a dinner reservation at 7:30 and the place was basically empty (which is fine/understandable) as the night progressed more people showed up but stuck to the front section of the bar. If I were to estimate the average age was 45-50 which is also would you’d expect at a whiskey bar. That said this place tried to transition into a night club around 10/11pm by having a DJ (Guy Fieri look alike) start blasting Pitbulls greatest hits at full volume to what was as I said an empty dance floor.

The whiskey tunnel/tour: This part was kind of fun although we expected a slightly larger selection of whiskey/ maybe some more special edition stock. This part of the night was the only thing that spoke to the whiskey bar aspect of this place. The DJ did also make the tour difficult as it was once again impossible to hear over Pitbull’s greatest hits.

Overall I wish this place would actually function as a whiskey bar and not try to turn itself into a King West style night club. If they would replace the DJ with a nice live band/ actual lounge music and tailored their menu to centre around their whiskeys I feel like that would turn it into a unique experience. I’ve never been this disappointed with an evening before and haven’t been able to sleep because of it w

Went here with a date last night after dinner for a post-meal drink and the atmosphere was cool but our server was incredibly rude. She seemed visually irate that we weren’t knocking back more drinks after our first and she was pushy to get the bill paid once we asked for the cheque.
At first I thought maybe this place would be cool to bring friends for a bottle service night but after the incredibly sour service I’m left feeling like the place is a bit pretentious and elitist. Clearly management isn’t taking their service experience seriously enough to train servers on giving the right kind of lounge experience. I felt biased against by our server and it actually took me a while to shake the feeling off after we left.

Worst service experience I’ve ever had on a date with someone. Absolutely never returning. Shame because my office is at 49 front, but I’ll never suggest this place to coworkers now.

Very mixed emotions about this place. It is beautiful inside and the food is incredible. Their truffle fries, kahuna burger, and inferno (salami and jalapenos) pizza were delectable! However, the customer service makes us not want to come back. First of all, we came as a group of 8 people on a reservation for a birthday. The staff did not create a very exciting and positive experience, they were extremely nonchalant which is quite jarring considering we were celebrating an exciting occasion. This wasn’t very crucial though, what really shocked me was the fact that since it was a birthday, I brought a cake to surprise the birthday girl. I handed it to a waiter who said he can bring it out with candles, only to be told when it’s time to bring it out that we have to pay a cake cutting fee of $7 PER SLICE?? Additionally, if we want to eat or cut it ourselves we’re not allowed?? Are you joking? It’s not listed on the website, nobody said anything when we called to book the reservation, and nothing was said when I handed the cake to the waiter. The most ridiculous thing ever!! I paid for a cake, and brought it all the way downtown. You’re telling me we can’t eat it?? It’s literally my cake how are you going to tell me what to do with it and how did you fail to mention it when you had three different opportunities to do so?? Very awful customer service. Ultimately they did not allow us to eat our cake but brought out a complimentary single cheesecake slice. All I have to say is if you go here do not go here for your birthday.

This has been my place to celebrate with friends or family for years about 4 years. NYE event was a complete waste of money and a big disappointment. Drive 2 hours to bring in the NYE at the lounge. Arrived at 10:45pm to be told it’s an additional $10 per person after 10pm. It wasn’t a complete shocker, the shocker was there was no food and a very limited bar selection. My partner don’t drink alcohol so we paid 130 for 2 glass of cranberry juice with no ice. For me I had 2 glass of wine because I was so upset at the terrible service from the bartender.

I loved this place for many years but I don’t see myself coming back!!

Waitress was absent and full of attitude
Owner is distressful to his guest and over charges. If you book a party. Did you know they charge $75 to cut the cake and $70 for water …WATER.
When you bring up your concerns about the club to the owner, he will explode on you. Does not listen.

Very misleading, waitress was suppose to let you know when you’ve reached your bill limits, that never happened.

Food was way too much, so much wasted.

Please listen guest in the future and please be considerate.

Great staff. Great bartenders that I encountered. Doorman is a good presence and a friendly guy. Front end gets a little filled up with younglin's who drink a tad more than they should but hey, we were all young once. Nice ambiance and a neat spot. Was here for a private party and it was well organized. Staff were great 👌

It was a cool place, there were too many people, I hurt my ears, maybe you are not so sensitive, of course, I was standing near the speakers and this was not the right thing, the ceiling was high, the fire was interesting and unexpected. This was my first time going next time I’m going for dinner this time I tried an espresso martini that was great and a bit overpriced but as this bar doesn’t have an entrance so maybe it's fair!

This place offers a unique and stylish atmosphere with a Prohibition-era vibe. The whiskey selection is impressive, featuring a vast range of options for both enthusiasts and newcomers to enjoy. The staff is knowledgeable, often providing great recommendations based on your preferences. Cocktails are expertly crafted, I loved my espresso martini ? and the decor adds to the charm, making it a fun spot for a night out. However, it can get crowded on weekends, so reservations are a good idea. Overall, a fantastic experience for whiskey lovers and anyone looking for a memorable evening!

Food wasn't anything special. Drinks were ok, not spectacular. Tour was kinda lame and could've done without. Service was really good. Atmosphere was ok.

Have a whiskey espresso martini, they are delicious… we celebrated a friends birthday here recently and I am so glad we chose this place!

From the moment you walk in, you're treated to exceptional bottle service that makes you feel like a VIP. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring your glass is never empty and your experience is top-notch.

The DJ knows exactly how to set the mood, spinning a mix of tracks and genres that kept us hyped and excited, the energy was high without overpowering the intimate vibe. Whether you're there to unwind after a long day or dance the night away, the music hits all the right notes.

The ambiance is just right—elegant yet inviting, with an energy that keeps you coming back for more. It’s a place where you can truly relax, enjoy some incredible whiskey, and soak in the atmosphere. The exposed brick, chandeliers and exceptional customer service is a killer combination.

A big thank you to the team at CC Lounge & Whiskey Bar for an unforgettable night. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to elevate their evening with great drinks, amazing service, and a vibe that’s simply unmatched!

Definitely go for bottle service, they are incredibly attentive, polite, friendly and make it an entire experience on its own. Can’t wait to come back for a tour!

We did the whiskey tunnel tour. It’s like a boring school trip than a fun experience. Then the whiskey tunnel itself is just waaaay too small cramped and hot. The food was average at best. The service was slow but we were a big group and they were very nice and professional. The atmosphere was nice. The place was hopping by the end of the night. Work out the kinks with the whiskey tunnel tour.

Never ate here. We just usually come a few times a year with friends for a late night drink or dance. Drinks are very pricey. Not very roomy but the atmosphere is great with awesome music.
