I stopped by in November 2024 to pick up a selection of squares and cookies for a dinner party dessert platter. They were a hit! Our guests asked where I bought them so they could try more, and I'll be back to try more myself.

Update: The pumpkin pie, which was made with REAL, fresh pumpkin, was absolutely delicious!! ---- I was a terrible person and left things to the last minute. I ordered a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving online on Friday and I got an email confirmation the same day. I was so grateful they were open Sunday for pick up. Pickup was very smooth. Thank you!!
I walked in and so many amazing smells just HIT me! Picked up a Nanaimo bar to enjoy on the spot.
I'll absolutely be back to try something savoury next time!

Nice cafe good coffee good price and bread. Only con is the owner which I’m assuming is the older lady cashing me out - was very off putting with her customer service. I was trying to make small talk with her and instead of responding nicely or just smiling she gave me a short response with a bad tone to her voice. It was a weird vibe. I get it not everyone likes small talk but i was just asking questions about the items so i could get more things.

love this bakery, the food is excellent and the bread is delicious for a good price, but the owner is unnecessarily unkind to her staff when they make mistakes. I've been here twice and heard her call out her staff loudly in front of several customers both times, which I think is disrespectful and unprofessional, plus its awkward to watch as a patron. she could easily take them aside when no customers are around to provide constructive feedback. The workers themselves are kind and provide excellent service. it's a bummer because its the best bread ive found in the neighbourhood since moving here a year ago, and i love to support a local business, but it's tough when the staff aren't treated with kindness and respect. I hope the next time I come in I don't have to witness this a third time!
