The variety and quality of food, the service and staff, the ambiance, simply exceptional. We had a birthday dinner here and the experience was fantastic. This location also doesn’t have a time limit on dinner service so you can host large parties for an extended period of time. We’re now regular customers.

Terrible experience with the grill constantly burning. The waitress probably changed it three to four times before we gave up. Meats ended up sticking, burnt and unappetizing. Why was it such a chore to cook? They actually offered a different style of grill which had less potential to burn quickly, but was offered way too late. And the value just isn't there anymore.

Overall menu selection pales in comparison to other kbbq/jbbq joints. I regularly go to BBQ places and Chako stands out in the wrong way unfortunately. It's time to move on from Chako I guess...was good back in the day.

We are regulars at Chako but typically visit the Richmond Hill location. We thought we’d try the Eglinton location and were pleasantly surprised. First, the grill is electric rather than gas which made the cook of the food more consistent, it cooked faster, and the taste was better. The food was extremely fresh and tasted so delicious, especially for a busy Saturday night, and the new menu items are to die for (the Cajun drumsticks are amazing!). The drinks also slap.

The service is also great - we didn’t even have to ask for our grill to be changed, they did it proactively for us. Plus, management is amazing!

I’d recommend checking this place out - it’s a great AYCE BBQ place and if you’re a fan of Chako already, you need to try this location.

I've been a loyal fan of Chakos at their Richmond Hill location, so I was excited to try their new spot on Eglinton. While I’m used to the gas grills at Richmond Hill, the electric grills at this location are a pleasant surprise! They heat up fast, maintain an even temperature, and make the whole grilling experience super convenient and smokeless.

The real star, though, is the food—always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The new menu items here are also fantastic additions, adding even more variety to an already impressive selection. From perfectly marinated meats to delicious side dishes, every bite feels like a treat. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home.

Chakos on Eglinton is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for high-quality Korean BBQ. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this place will impress!

Food was ok. It could have been marinated better.

They use electric heat. The staff kept spraying oil onto the grill I guess to give it that flame. Why not just change it gas grill?

They charged us 12% service charge for 3 people and waiter didn't even have courtesy to tell us. It didn't state anywhere there is 12% service charge.

Wouldn't recommend. For that price you can get better value elsewhere.

My experience here was splendid and great. We were greeted with an employee and prompt us on our dining area. To get to the menu there’s a QR code on the side of the table and ordered all that is needed.

The food selection is a lot ranging from vegetable, various meats and seafood. There’s side dish as well to complete the meal. We ordered mainly beef dishes throughout our stay and it was fantastic. Highly recommend to get the short ribs beef, this is my favourite to grab here. My only downside is that the grill is electric I wished it would have been a flame. It doesn’t taste the same as the other chako that I’ve visited.

Our server is top notch as he was very attentive and always around to grab our empty plates and as well the food arrived quickly.

Overall highly satisfied with the experience and great costumer service. Will be back again when I’m in a mood for an AYCE!

10/10. The server was good

This restaurant was just awful.

The quality of the food wasn’t good and the quantity was definitely lacking. The grill kept burning our food way too fast, and we had to get it replaced at least 4 times. We even asked the waitress to please turn the heat down but she didn't listen (She might have been the chef? Because she started cooking our food).

The front desk host was nice but the waitresses wasn't. Sometimes it almost feels like the ethnicity of customers may cause a problem for those who work there. The waitresses we had kept speaking loudly behind, then they began to mop the floor with a really strong bleach.

I would avoid this location.

Friendly and engaging staff and large space. Ordering is done through your phone. The meat are marinated with the same sause which includes Chilli ? . The flavors all taste the same. If you don't like spice make sure to ask without sause. I wasent to impressed with the quality of meat but overall it was a nice expiriance.

Had a great birthday dinner at this location. The staff was very friendly and service was super fast. Food was delicious and the QR code menu had an accurate picture of each dish. They also do a fun birthday celebration! Highly recommend!

Lambert was a great server! He made sure we felt welcomed and explained every meat to us. He definitely deserves a raise!

The grills are electric so they take a bit longer to cook the meat, but it wasn't a problem. The food was very delicious, especially the lamb. Would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a nice grill place.
