Great cocktails. Excellent service. Food is also great. Nice little patio for the summer
We find a strand of hair in our cornish hen after a 50 min wait to get mains. When we asked the server, he went:
“do you see how busy this place is?” “Everyone wears a hair net” “this isn’t fast food”
Food was great - but the service leaves a huge black mark. For this price, I expect better.
The place is amazing. Everything is 10/10.The food is top notch, and the service is incredible.

Came here for happy hour. Great vibes. Food and drinks were really nice. Service was a bit slow, some items were missed, same thing happened to the table next to us. Not a big deal. Would definitely come back for a proper dinner. Menu looks lovely.

One of the best spot in Toronto to enjoy delicious food with incredible service. I asked for a few bottle of red to be chilled and everything was set when we arrived. Our group shared most of the small plates and everything was so tasty that we ordered another round of it all! Beautiful and intimate atmosphere. Can’t say enough good thing about Chantecler.

One of the top steak tartares in the city.
Heard great things about this spot from a friend and finally got to try it. Came on a Sunday evening at 7pm and didn't have to wait for a spot on the patio for 3.
We stopped by for a light bite and ordered the fries, steak tartare, smoked trout and the brioche. The steak tartare was really good and I have to say it's one of top ones in the city. We only ordered the brioche as an add on because we saw other tables get it and it did not disappoint. It came out hot and soft. Overall everything was delicious.
Highly recommend and excited to come back to try their main dishes.

A definite favourite in Toronto! On ALL levels this corner bistro hits all the boxes. Unique dishes with creative flavours. Jill, our server, was pleasant, friendly and paced our dinner out well. Their portions are very fair. The pics say it all :)

Great happy hour options and excellent dinner menu. Love the non-alc drink options esp the rosemary olive cocktail. Cod croquettes, fries, tomato salad, smoked trout - all so good. Love the new space (miss the Parkdale location).

I was looking for an outdoor patio and I found Apero Hour at Chantecler.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and I was greeted and seated quickly. The patio was spacious and had comfortable seating.
I tried the Pre-Amble to start but the signature G&T was the star.
The steak tartare was tasty and the parsnip crisps added a nice crunch factor. Also tried the Pissaladiere which was rich and flaky. Good sizes for the price. I will definitely return to try their other options.

Just the best.
Some of the highest quality food and service in the city, and extremely reasonable prices.
No Guinness on draght but this makes sense for a French restaurant.

The food and cocktails were really good, great atmosphere. The service was good but a little rushed at times (it wasn’t a busy day though).
