Shared a wonderful reunion with old friends last night and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Such a warm and inviting atmosphere, comfortable environment, attentive staff and knowledgeable proprietor. Amongst the five of us we had the wild boar, salmon, signature chicken dish and for apps chips, calamari and ribs. All were flavorful and delicious. We all had a wonderful time and this restaurant went out of their way to contribute to our experience. Thank you!
Disappointing Experience Despite High RatingsI must say, I had high hopes walking into this casual restaurant, especially given its impressive 4.9-star rating on Google. However, my experience left much to be desired.Firstly, let's talk about the ambiance. The open kitchen concept sounded appealing at first, but the overpowering smell of fried food and lingering food odors on my clothes when I left were less than pleasant.Service was another letdown. Forgetful and inattentive barely begin to describe it. Our drinks were forgotten until we had to remind the staff after two dishes had already arrived. Not exactly the attentive service you'd expect, especially from a restaurant with such high ratings.Now, onto the food. We tried the cauliflower, the signature salad, and the fish and chips. While the cauliflower was delicious, the other two certainly didn't live up to the hype in the reviews. The flavors were mediocre at best, and for the price, I expected much more. The puffed rice was "soggy rice".Speaking of price, the wine was overpriced for maybe a 4 ounce glass ($14) and for the casual nature of the establishment.In conclusion, the overall experience fell far short of expectations. Why does this place have such high ratings?

Went for early dinner and started with the Best Ever Expresso Martini, shared calamari and cauliflower apps, followed by amazing caeser salad. For mains 2 of us had butter chicken, one the duck tacos and the other the wild boar pasta..tried everything and it was all fabulous, hot, fresh and so flavorful! And, we had a bottle of red wine and one of white. Our 2 young guys..cook, server, bartender were wonderful.they definitely made this incredible meal even more special...and we met Chef Jeffrey!Definitely will be back!Dietary restrictions: Very attentive to gluten and sesame seed allergies

This place is as good as it looks. Food is incredible. We tried all the desserts, incredible. Tiramisu where they pour the espresso over top? SAY YES!Boar pasta was mouth watering with a healthy serving of boar meat!

Definitely a place to eat when you are wandering downtown or heading out to the theatre. The food was so very creative and absolutely delicious. Try the cauliflower appetizer. The service was excellent and it was wonderful meeting and chatting with the owner / master chef.

I told the staff it was our anniversary when making the reservation. I was greeted at the restaurant with “Happy Anniversary”, ribbons on our champagne glasses and a bouquet of roses for my partner. The food and service was fantastic, if you want high quality food for a reasonable price, this is the place!

The food is decent, but nothing spectacular.We shared the Black Tempura Prawn Popcorn as an appetizer. The presentation was beautiful but this lacked in flavour and was not served hot.For mains, we shared the Cheffry’s Signature Dish Masti and Chicken Souvlaki Burger. The salad was tasty but a bit heavier on the dressing and the burger sat under the heat lamp in the kitchen for 10 mins before arriving at our table. Somehow the inside was not hot and a bit underwhelming.Overall, attentive and pleasant staff and a great price point! The food is okay. I would give it another try sometime if we’re in the area.
