Really disappointed with their service. I am pregnant and had a bbq crave last week, called in to order a takeout, was told they no longer take orders over the phone and I need to use their website to place a pickup order. Went to the site and first of all there was a fee to place an order (it was their own website not third party), then when I was ready to confirm and pay, there was no time slots available on that day to pick up the order so I could not complete it - I had to select the next day for a pickup order??? It was only 6:15pm. Please do better.

Beef Brisket is really good~

The brisket is good. Turkey was bland and dry. Pulled pork is okay. The sides were all really good, we got the mac and cheese , corn bread and potato salad. About $40-50 per person with a drink. We did like that there were lots of unique seltzers and beers there.

You order at the cash and they bring you the food wherever you are sitting. Other than that, there is really no other service. So lots of getting up to ask for napkins, hot sauce, forks, etc. which wasn't a big deal for us.

Overall it was a good try!

Great food lovely patio overall delicious experience. Go for lunch or dinner sit on the patio and then take a beautiful walk in the new park just south of Cherry Street barbeque
The baked beans, pulled pork, smoked turkey, fries, beers all well made and tasty.

Sold out of most menu items by 7:30. I waiting in line for an hour, before being informed of the situation. Waste of time.

Quality of food really gone downhill over last 5 years. Atmosphere could be better but oblivious DJ not reading the room was a big miss. On the plus side it’s close to the new park so you can hit the playground after

Yet another establishment ruined by a Michelin shoutout. Too popular and cocky for their own good.

Splurged to get the 90 dollar large sampler and try everything since this is so out of the way and I'm rarely in the Portlands.

They ran out of baby back ribs and was replaced with riblets instead.

From best to worst:
Mac and cheese (side): 5/5 - perfectly al dente and balanced contrast to the meats
Chicken wings: 4/5 - good flavor and crisp
- incredible texture and moist but largely tasteless, disappointing even lacking a smoky flavour
- like the chicken wings but worse and drier
- nothing special, no discernible spices or herbs. A Costco hot dog runs laps around this
Pulled pork: 1/5 - completely tasteless, dry and the BBQ sauce does not save it.

The other sides and pickles were forgettable, not any better than a large chajn restaurant like Jack Astor's.

I came on a Wednesday night and was told it was busier than expected but that doesn't excuse the terribly inefficient service. Waiters are not allowed to take down food orders and so everyone has to line up at one cashier to put down their order. We ended up having to wait 20 minutes just to order. If they have a system like this, why not open up two ordering lanes? Makes no sense.

At the end of the day, I understand it's busy but running out of items more than hour before closing and the overall service really downgraded the experience.
On-top of that, the quality was far from $90 worth of food. Only 2 items were actually good (and neither better than the now closed Adamson BBQ), and the rest of the items were incredibly average and outclassed by a run of the mill Moxie's, Keg, or Montana's.

Will not be returning. It's only popular because of the lack of competition and unique location.

Overpriced. The food was unseasoned, the bbq sauce was good but I wish there were some spices on the meat. Not much flavour other than the meat itself. Atmosphere was good with live music. Service took a while and nobody checks on you to see how the meal is going
