The Edelman Toronto team has been raving about the food from Cherry Street BBQ since our 2024 Summer Party. The Cherry St. team provided amazing service and even better food. They were very accommodating throughout the whole process. We have a big team and have many different dietary restrictions that they accommodated with no issue. 10/10 experience.

We had a Corporate event at Batl on Villiers Street and one of the food options was Cherry St. BBQ. Wow! Yousuf was amazing in helping us to organise for 30 people and made great suggestions. The Beef Brisket was to die for and they conveniently made the Three Meat and Three Sides options into a buffet for 28! Delivery was exactly on time and everyone still raving about the food!

We had Cherry Street Bar-B-Que cater for our Summer Social. Despite the rainstorm on our rooftop potentially ruining the event, it was a hit with everyone!! Coordinating with Yousuf (catering manager) was seamless. He was helpful and attentive throughout the whole process! The food was DELICIOUS , assorted leaf wraps, smoke salmon all the sides (mac &cheese, potato salad) carve the brisket was a great experience!
Cheers to the team!

Do not eat here. I got food poisoning from their meat. I know this because I didn’t eat anything else till around lunch time. At about 11am I was starting to feel very sick. I’ve seen some recent reviews saying the same thing. We need food inspectors to come here! The location is in butt stuck no where and things are going unchecked. It would have been better if I ate McDonald’s.

We had Cherry Street cater our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. When you’re planning your own wedding - There are so many things that you need to consider, from who will set up the place settings to how many glasses you should order, and where you should order it from.
Yousuf was our go to person when trying to sort out all of these things, and he was more than happy to do so. We also had two delicious tastings so we could see exactly what they’d be serving on the day.
Speaking of the day - One of the things about our wedding people enjoyed the most was the food and their staff. The owner was even there cutting the brisket for our guests - It was so damn delicious! We cant thank these folks enough for all the effort they put into making our day so smooth and special. ☺️🙏🏼🫶🏼

My brothers and sisters of Christ, look no further than Cherry Street BBQ to scratch your American barbecue itch. The large platter for two is filled with the most delicious, tender bbq’d meat you’ll find in Toronto that will prime you for your food coma. Amazing food, incredible staff, tremendous experience.

I've been here twice.
I've tried the brisket, pulled pork, turkey, sausage and ribs as well as some of the sides.
I enjoyed all of the meats except for the brisket. Although, I've never had brisket before so maybe it's just not for me.
My favorite would be the sausage, perfect taste and texture. Eating it with the fresh jalapenos and coleslaw was AAAAmazin'!
The sides are delicious, but beware the "small sides" that come with some of the meals which are insultingly small, even bite-sized would be an exaggeration. If you want to try the cornbread pay for it separately (get the loaf), which is delicious by the way. Mac and cheese is also good.
I actually chose this location because I saw banana pudding on their menu that I was very excited to try. The first time I went they were out of it, but called ahead on my second time to make sure they had some.
I was actually quite disappointed by the banana pudding. It's $8 and it says online it comes in a jar, but again there seems to be an issue with the portion sizes here, because a jar would be stretching it, shot glass would be more accurate.
Also, the pudding was not what I expected. It wasn't bad, but it didn't strike me texture or taste wise as a pudding, more like some sort of unique desert. It didn't smell much or taste much like bananas, although it was interesting. I would not recommend it. I think I would have rather eaten some premade cheap banana pudding with real whipped cream and crumble on top, in an actual jar, I would have enjoyed that better.
Overall this place has great food and I would go there again, the criticisms I
have are minor.
In terms of service, it's quite passive. No one said a word to me the entire time, which I'm sure many would like. If they did ask me how the food was, I would have politely critiqued the pudding, which I doubt they wanted to hear anyway :')

I do a lot of smoking at home and have tried some of the best bbq the US has to offer. Got the brisket sandwich. It was ok. If you aren’t well versed in bbq you will probably enjoy it.

We called in to see if there were any tables left for 2, we were told ya sure no problem, we drove almost an hour to eat. We get there to find out, nothing available. I get it, It was busy at a busy time, but at least give us a heads up,we can take our chances, and I would have understood. That's all. Just sucked cause we really wanted to go there as I ride by there every day to work.

My go-to for barbecue in the city. Lots of flavour, never dry.

We had Cherry St cater our wedding a few months ago and they totally blew us away! Yousef was so great with communication, and working with them was such a smooth process. The food was obviously outstanding, my friends and family are still talking about it. They were able to accommodate all my guests dietary needs as well. I highly, highly recommend using them for your wedding or event, I'm still dreaming about the bao. Thank you!!
