This is a review for Danforth location at Chester Ave. I came here as it was highly recommended on Toronto Vegans FB group and boy I was not disappointed! I ordered the vegetable and tofu coconut soup. It was freshly prepared, crunchy vegetables and beautiful presentation. So creamy and delicious- one of the best coconut soups I have tasted! I was deciding between panang or massamam curry and the server said their panang curry was the best! Again, freshly prepared, beautiful presentation , crunchy vegetables in a creamy sauce. I asked for Thai spicy ( 2 tablespoons) and it had a great kick to it! I went there for lunch on a Saturday 11:30 am and when we left after 1 pm, it was packed. Great, friendly service, beautiful decor and incredibly tasty food. I am so going there again!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chiang Mai Junction , and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We started with the shrimp rolls, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned, with tender shrimp wrapped in delicate rice paper, complemented by a zesty dipping sauce that added a great contrast to the richness of the rolls.

For the main course, I sampled the Malay chicken curry, which was a standout. The curry had a fantastic depth of flavor, combining a lovely balance of spices and creaminess (felt like butter chicken). The chicken was incredibly tender, and the dish was perfectly paired with fragrant rice.

We also tried the crispy chicken, which was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The seasoning was spot-on, giving the chicken a satisfying, savory kick without being overwhelming. Additionally, the Pad Thai chicken was another highlight—packed with vibrant flavors, the noodles had just the right balance of sweet, sour, and salty, and the chicken was tender and well-cooked.

The service was friendly and efficient, making for a very pleasant dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu! Cheers on your visit.

Ordered the pad Thai, Pad See Ew and Green Curry mains. Had calamari and beef dumplings as appetizer. Pad Thai was about Thai Express level of goodness. Green curry was okay. But the most surprising was the Pad See Ew, it was really good. I think it saved the meal. Dumplings were okay, and calamari was good like calamari should be. Nice place.

Beautiful little restaurant with a modern atmosphere. I visited for the first time during brunch and the meals were delicious! My personal favourites are the Duck Panaeng and Crying Tiger Platter. The Thai Tea-ramisu was light and not overly sweet. Service was very friendly, quick and attentive. Will be visiting again soon!

We came in around dinner time to celebrate our anniversary, and the place was packed. Luckily, a reservation was canceled, and we got a table just in time! Dining here was a wonderful surprise that saved our night. If you love Thai food, this place is a must-visit. We didn’t expect to love the Panang duck, especially since we’re not big fans of curry, but it changed our minds! The Tom Yum Pad Thai is also a must-try!

I initially had a wonderful experience with Chiang Mai Junction. Their team graciously offered to address an issue with a product that fell short of expectations, providing a credit and an exchange option, which I deeply appreciated. It was refreshing to see a business stand behind its product quality and customer satisfaction.

However, when I recently attempted to redeem this offer, I was informed that the arrangement could no longer be honored due to a change in management. While I understand that transitions occur, it’s disheartening to see a business retract commitments based on staff turnover, as it leaves customers like myself feeling unvalued.

Consistency in honoring agreements is a cornerstone of trust, especially in customer relations. Unfortunately, this recent experience has left me questioning the reliability of Chiang Mai Junction’s customer service, which is a shame given their initially positive approach. I hope they can establish policies that transcend individual employees and prioritize long-term customer trust.

We did my mom's birthday at Chang Mai Junction with almost 20 people and we had excellent service, the atmosphere was perfect and not too loud or quiet, the food was flavourful and the drinks looked amazing. Our server, Valentina went above and beyond to ensure we were all taken care of the whole event. I truly appreciate the venue and their service. The manager was excellent with communication about booking a large group and checked in on us while there. Would highly recommend this location and will definitely be back again! Thank you so much Chang Mai Junction!

Been coming here for over a year now and it’s hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto, my friends as I love it.
The food it’s amazing, the staff it’s lovely, kind and super attentive.

When it comes to food, my all time favorites are:
chicken pineapple fried rice, and the beef pad see ew.
If you’re thinking of desserts the green tea tiramisu it’s impressive.
