I'm reluctant to review this place because it's King West's BEST KEPT SECRET! The $10 menu is unbelievably delicious, incredible quality & the service is very friendly and personable. Andy & Harron are fabulous. All the staff is. I can't recommend this place enough.

I'm giving this place 4 stars for their $10 drink and snacks menu. It has good vibes, cheap cocktails and snacks but you get for what you pay for. The cocktails run a bit sweet and the snacks were just ok. Some of the items are cheap for $10 while others or not. The birria taco was $10 for only 1. The tuna crudo had a good portion for $10 but they did not know how to cut the fish, was just a big slab. The guac wasn't bad but I didn't like the chips that it came with and the fried eggplant batter was too heavy. Although the quality of the drinks and food was mediocre, the price is good for people that are on a budget.

We visited Chica on the first night of their $10-per-item menu and loved the restaurant. The food was delicious, the vibe was awesome, and Andy, our server, was amazing, could have chatted with him all night. Opening a restaurant in such a competitive area can’t be easy, but Chica is off to a great start. Will definitely go back. Hopefully Andy will be serving again! Highly recommend it 👌
I was disappointed. Most of the hot plates are simply deep fried with a spicy sauce added to it. Environment too loud to hear each other.

Expensive and boring- Chica changed their menu completely, the place is more like a bar than a restaurant. They used to have unique dishes like foie gras pie but Not anymore. Very disappointed will not come back again

We had a 9:45pm reservation and showed up early, excited to finally try Chica… only to be greeted by locked doors. A man came out and let us know the restaurant was already closed. Their website says they’re open until 11pm, so it really threw us off. No warning, no message, nothing.
We were really looking forward to it, so getting turned away at the door was such a letdown. If the kitchen closes early, the reservation system should reflect that. Just felt like a waste of time and a missed night out.

we were craving for tapas and was looking forward to patatas bravas. unfortunately they have changed the menu and it’s been removed. we ordered roasted chorizo and they’re not available too. i’m not sure what’s the crowd they’re aiming for, we find the menu limited and definitely not your typical tapas bar menu.
lastly, it felt the staff were hovering around, probably because the place was almost empty. there were more staff than diners on a Wednesday night.

Visited Chica over the weekend and the vibes were just over the roof. Very fun and energetic place. We sat at the bar where Sude and Bryan took excelent care of us with their food and cocktail recommendations. My go to’s are croquettes and Cherry Cosmo. Will for sure be back!
