The bib gourmand status encouraged us to visit especially since the chicken is halal. We went with the medium spice levels. Burgers were huge! Very yummy, although the spice does take a minute before it really hits you and all of a sudden the experience is not very pleasurable.
It’s also super hot inside, with the kitchen open to the dining area. feels unkempt with greasy tables.
I would definitely recommend but to go for the milder spice level and takeaway.

So delicious. Chicken always comes out nice and crispy and it’s always well seasoned. I got the sweet heat and it was perfect :)

Hello Google!
So first off the food here is amazing but the negative review is for how rude the staff was to my mother in law. She came to our house all sad because the staff spoke down to her and tossed the bag of food at her.
I'm not returning, even though the product is good from here because of how awful the staff is. I hope others follow suit.

Came based on Reddit reviews saying it was the best chicken sandwich in Toronto. It was good. Very good. And the fries were super tasty. But a chicken sandwich is supposed to be made with chicken BREAST, not dark meat. Will be back though. Great job guys.

The OG has to be among the best fried chicken in the city. Each bite is pure perfection to the point where you feel like you’re transported to the Deep South. I was skeptical at the white sandwich bread but it was perfectly balanced. I would make the trip out here any time.

Spicy, juicy, unforgettable!
Visited the Dundas West location of Chica’s Chicken and tried their OG Sando — absolutely blew me away. The fried chicken was super crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. The Nashville spice level is no joke — it’s actually spicy (in the best way). The slaw and pickles cut through the heat perfectly, and that signature Chica’s sauce ties it all together. Served on a soft, toasted brioche bun that holds up beautifully.
If you love a real hot chicken sandwich, this is it. The vibe at this location is chill, the staff were quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh. Will definitely be coming back to try more! Highly recommend for any sandwich lover or spicy food fan.

Could this be Toronto’s best Nashville Hot Chicken spot? Michelin Guides definitely thinks so as they were recently added to their Michelin Bib Gourmand list of restaurants. Personally, when it came to their sandwiches, I have never had anything more flavourful and unique tasting before!🤤
Not only do they make their food fresh to order, but they are also Halal🙌 I would definitely recommend going there but do make sure you have time to try their bone-In chicken as it’s freshly prepared and it takes around 30 minutes to get made.

Had the OG sandwich, mild. (What can I say? I want to taste the chicken, not set fire to my tongue.) Ready in less than five minutes and a nice balance between crunchy and juicy. A little messy, perhaps, but you have to expect that in a fried chicken sandwich. There's a Green P lot just down the street so parking is easy.

It's a few dollars over priced, and the food is average. Chicken bites are a 3/10. Much better fried chicken places in Toronto
