Christinas on the Danforth

Had booked Cristina‘s through OpenTable a few days prior to our reservation date. Less than an hour to our reservation date and time I got a text from Christina‘s telling me that the place is not open and that my reservation will be canceled. I understand things do happen Unfortunately in an hour prior to reservation with a large group was a disaster scrambling to try find a new restaurant with a table to accommodate. Had the reservation been cancelled hours ahead of time I would understand, but not less than an hour.

Christina's once the Jewel of the danforth Is now a dated very average place , that has lost there lustre. Food was ok but nothing special And place has not been renovated from the 80's. Many new places have opened up on the danforth that have surpassed Christina's Just walking back to the subway seeing many filled to capacity while Christina's was sparse

The food was delicious, and our server was very kind to the two elderly women I was hosting. Excellent service.

Chef Tassos from Athens is the best Greek cuisine cook in the Danforth. The waiter, Tommy from Toronto, is also the best. Go on Saturday nights fur tre belly dancing.

Tommy was a fantastic, incredible waiter! He cared about what we ordered, made sure everything was perfect and, was very personable. That, with the wonderful food made it a perfect experience!

This was my first time enjoying a fantastic meal at Christina’s with my husband. The service was excellent and Tommy made us feel like we were family. The saganaki and oyster mushrooms were top notch and the ricotta stuffed chicken and mousska were truly delicious and tasted home made. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Tommy was the most wonderful of all time. Made us both feel so at home! We came in after a bad day and he had us all smiling and laughing in no time. So personable and welcoming, and he had great menu recommendations! The best!!!!

Tommy was a great server, very personable. The food was excellent and the caesar was incredible. He told me that Christinas has been around for 55 years. They are clearly doing it right over there. I’ll be back for sure!

I actually haven't visited Christina's yet in person! I've only ever ordered from Uber eats & honestly its my favorite Greek food! You know they have to be good! 5 stars just for the food. It's incredible. Can't wait to visit the actual restaurant & update this review! Definitely try them, you won't be disappointed!

Stopped by for a solo lunch while running errands. Ordered the $30 prix five lunch. Very generous portions and quality straightforward ingredients and execution. The dolmades as my first course had me smiling, they were delicious and tender Also ordered a spanakopita to go, and it was great. Service was friendly, and attentive. You should go.

Met a great man named Tommy who consoled my family and I after the blue jays game 7 loss, the food was amazing and the service was great as well amazing place all around absolutely would recommend

Just had a wonderful afternoon at Christina‘s. Came here for lunch. Stayed for a glass of wine and fabulous dessert. Tommy, our server, was one of the main reasons we stayed. Highly recommended.
