Honestly just don’t go here. I’m a recovered addict and the treatment I got for ordering a pop was honestly unreal. That women everyone’s talking about behind the bar I think needs some serious help.

Had a pint and half and the bartender tried charging $27. Told her that seemed high so she lowered the price to $21 (for a pint and a half?!). Expensive. Shabby, not sheik. Won't be back.

Overall a disappointing bar, with overpriced subpar drinks, and even worse management. The end of the night, came from having the owner forcing my friend and I to wait for our Uber outside in the cold, despite letting the owner know that there were men harassing us outside (which they didn’t do anything about). If you want to have an uncomfortable experience, and spend a lot of money for it, this is the bar for you.

Place wasnt busy inside but the line took forever for some reason. Service was incredibly slow. Frank (bald handsome tall guy) seems relatively nice if not cold, Nancy (woman with a top bun with the receding hairline) on the other hand is difficult, impossible to interact with, and very self absorbed. She spent most of the time talking to one group of people while everyone else tried to get her attention. She acted as if we were annoying her just for trying to get service. We waited for 45 minutes before getting up to go to the bar to order instead. The beer was warm, and the food lacked seasoning. We decided to try their whisky instead and it tasted watered down. Overall, while having a nice atmosphere for its patio, thats just a matter of location and nothing the owners do adds anything good to this place. Id recommend going to any of the dozens of other bars that offer better food and drinks with a similar atmosphere in the neighbourhood.

There's something off about this place. Never went in but walked by several times. The people surrounding this place (I'm assuming they work there or are friends with those who work there) are always rude or boisterous as you're walking by. Sometimes, they make weird comments to you as if they're trying to get a reaction out of you or something. I wasn't surprised when I googled the place and saw that it had a low rating compared with the other bars in Toronto.

I attended Churchill to enjoy their patio. First time there and I will definitely be back soon.The drinks and service were excellent. The staff were friendly and inviting. The patio is a great place to have a drink and people watch.Highly recommend!

I was so excited to go here because I thought it looked cozy and inviting. Big mistake to judge the book by its cover. Both the person who seated us and the woman who served us were so disgustingly demeaning and rude; they made us feel guilty and like we were wasting their time for ordering a drink. When we asked questions about the menu, the girl rolled her eyes and just tried to get us to get any drink possible just to speed things up. Drinks were trash - watered down, literally tasted like there was no alcohol. Clearly service was even worse than the drinks. So many great places around, don’t waste your time on this s***hole.
