Visited the location for the first time, and was not an experience to be repeated. First, the order was not made correctly, which was corrected when brought to their attention. Secondly, the restaurant was not clean especially, the tables and garbage receptacles. The person taking orders was not friendly or welcoming. Additionally, our order was not brought to our table.
I tried their fried chicken, jalapeño cheddar poppers, and honey biscuit. The poppers and biscuit were incredibly delicious—fresh, warm, and full of flavor. However, I was a bit disappointed with the fried chicken. While it was freshly made with a nice crisp, it was much oilier than what I’ve had elsewhere. The place was empty so I grabbed the window seat for the view on Yonge Street. I found they do a good amount of home delivery for this time of day.
