great service.. amazing place 🍸

We ordered chicken Caesar wrap with yam fries and Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. The Alfredo was very tasty with broccoli and thin strips of red bell peppers. Caesar wrap was very good, filled with a lot of chicken. Cheese cake was ordered to go, it was as delicious. Highly recommend.

Our server was excellent. The music was quite loud and we asked for it to be turned down a few times and it didn't seem like the request was made. We had to yell over the music to hear one another. There were a bunch of flies and fruit flies around our table that were also quite distracting. Maybe it was because our table was right next to the washroom? The manager offered us a dessert to go as the bill was already paid. It was a nice gesture.

The table ordered bottomless mimosas and the server only brought one. The beverages came 20 minutes after the meal had arrived. And the server did not check in again after until he brought us our bills and charged us for the mimosas. We had to request a new bill as we did not get the bottomless like we had ordered.

They always have trouble finding my reservation when I book using Open Tables! However, the fish tacos were soooo good. Our waiter, David, was very accommodating and attentive. The chicken fingers were ok, nothing amazing though. The Friday $4 fish tacos and half price spiked tea were extremely worth it!

We went for Bottomless Mimosas...and it was definitely worth it! Of note were the lychee and the mango mimosas. The breakfast poutine was a good combo to have with them! Sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful day was amazing. Highly recommend!

They have a live dj playing so it gets a bit loud in there. Everything tasted great, service was slow- no one came to us for the first 30 minutes but we did switch tables (with permission from staff) so they were figuring out who would cover us. Our server was super nice and when she did get the chance she was very attentive.

I've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, albeit pricey. The service is great, but the music can be a bit too loud in my opinion. People are socializing and having to yell for the other party to hear them! Not like there is space to dance either, kind of strange.

I wish I could give 0! I made reservations for 4pm for a table inside, we arrived a bit early and had had to wait, no problem. We knew we were early, as we had a 40 min walk and didn't want to be late. The place is called Fox on John but the gps calls it the Fox and Fiddle. So we spent a long time walking around trying to find the right place(the signage is huge Fox and Fiddle) so gps was right We were called that our table was ready, yay A/C... it was 100'f that day! So we are brought to our table for two squashed between the bigger tables on the patio. I'm really sun sensitive and cannot sit in the sun, I also dislike patios for meals, heat/bugs/sweating/noise. It took 30 min for our waiter to show up with water. He then informed us that the menu was by QR code We sipped the water thankfully, so hot!!! The table for 4 with the umbrella vacated, so we asked for that table. Our waiter went to ask, and he said they were going to clear it right away... they didn't We were told if we would have made a reservation....bit we had The table next to it was vacated and cleaned so we decided to move there. We were stopped and told it was for another group waiting. So we had to sit back down while they cleaned the first vacated table. No one came to do it, we were there for an hour and we left, service was extremely slow, only had water and went next door for a smash burger and fries then Sweet Jesus for ice cream, delicious! Then we had to hurry to our concert as we thought a 4pm reservation would give us lots of time for a nice dinner and drinks, but we wasted an hour waiting to order. This is not the place to go if you have tickets for something! They aren't interested in tables for two, and don't bother filling the reservation requests

The food and service are good. This is my third time coming here because of the food, but the noise is way too much. It is impossible to talk without screaming to other people. We asked them to turn down the volume, and it was lowered only for a few minutes before becoming loud again. You want to enjoy brunch without needing to scream. The speaker position is right in front of the table.

Food was world class as was service. Darian was our server and she was excellent. We were checked on constantly by what appeared to be management and that was a nice touch. Slightly too loud to have a conversation but that won't deter us from coming back.

The service was great, and the staff was attentive. The chicken fingers were okay, not the best I've ever had but not the worst. My husband had the fish and chips. He said the batter was like cake and had no flavor. He doesn't like wasting food. He's very strict about that and will 99% of the time eat food even if it's not good. Unfortunately, the fish was so disappointing he couldn't finish it. Very not in his character to do that so it must have been bad. Also when I was waiting in bathroom line up for a stall to become available a pipe from above dripped liquid in my head and in my hair. I have no idea what it was, I seriously hope it was water.

I love this bar and have come here several times before and after shows in the area, but this past visit was a bit of a letdown. We were going to see a show at mirvish and booked our table so we would have enough time to eat dinner. Our server was prompt for drink orders but never came back to take our food order once our 3rd party member arrived and she delivered his drinks. we ended up having to flag down another server to find her and we didn't get to order the dinners that we wanted because the food would take too long to come out, making us late for the show so we ended up just getting more quick foods like apps which were great, but not as filling as proper a dinner.

Food and service was really good. Unfortunately it was really warm and uncomfortable due to the heat and humidity. Doors were wide open and fruit flies were gathering around the wine glasses.

Our dining experience at Fox was great, thanks to Stella! She is very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed. Fox on John is highly recommended for good food and service!
