If theres a standard for Toronto Cafe's, I'd say Claudia's Coffee is it. I have had better coffee from other Cafe's, often for cheaper, but I really have nothing to complain about when it comes to Claudia's - the coffee was tasty, hot, and prompt. The service window is very cute, but I worry that it makes up for a lack of pedestrian real estate within the building to accomodate people who sit and enjoy their drink - if you order inside, the cafe feels very cramped. Nevertheless, I will definitely happily return to Claudia's Coffee!

Very nice coffee shop on the corner. Lots of light inside, big menu and warm vibes. Highly recommend anyone nearby to come by and support your local coffee shop!

I was there this past week and the owner was serving me and they were very rude, condescending and impatient when I was deciding what to order. I have dietary restrictions and I was asking questions so please don't come here if you have any dietary restrictions.

Coffee is good, the muffins are delicious and the service is warm and friendly (even after I broke a cup of coffee and made a mess). I highly recommend it

This used to be our favourite coffee shop in the junction. The patio is beautiful (although more umbrellas would be nice).
But lately the coffees have not been great.
(We usually go on Saturday or Sunday morning)
Not sure if there’s a new owner or just some new baristas who aren’t great.
But the cappuccino looks / tastes like it came out of a machine the last 3 times we went.
Today we went to Full Stop instead which was better.
Hopeful Claudia’s can turn things back around soon, because we miss the European vibes on the patio / inside and what used to be their excellent coffee.

I visited this coffee place with my daughter and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. While the coffee was good (though quite overpriced), the overall atmosphere ruined our visit. The music was unbearably loud and gave both of us a headache. When I politely asked if it could be turned down or changed, the bartender rolled his eyes and responded in a very rude and dismissive manner.
It’s a shame—this place has potential, but the poor service and uncomfortable environment make it hard to enjoy. Definitely not coming back.

Great coffee and great service. A neighborhood institution that has never grown stale.

Excellent coffee
the almond croissant tasted like it was very old, I would not recommend :(
We ended up here because this coffee shop was open until 6pm on a weekday while the other cafes were closed by 4 or 5pm. But we were glad we found this place. The service was good, the place was quiet while several people worked, and it was just a really charming cafe. It wad a bit awkward that the floor was squeaking so loudly when you walk while other people were so quiet😅. They hve a wireless charger installed on the tables by the window. How cool is that!
