If theres a standard for Toronto Cafe's, I'd say Claudia's Coffee is it. I have had better coffee from other Cafe's, often for cheaper, but I really have nothing to complain about when it comes to Claudia's - the coffee was tasty, hot, and prompt. The service window is very cute, but I worry that it makes up for a lack of pedestrian real estate within the building to accomodate people who sit and enjoy their drink - if you order inside, the cafe feels...
This used to be our favourite coffee shop in the junction. The patio is beautiful (although more umbrellas would be nice).
But lately the coffees have not been great.
(We usually go on Saturday or Sunday morning)
Not sure if there’s a new owner or just some new baristas who aren’t great.
