Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie

Our party of four had a great dining experience at Cluny prior to our Soulpepper Theatre show. The food was delicious, especially the steak frites which were done to perfection. Our server Antony was the best! The live jazz trio topped off a great night. We look forward to returning to Cluny. 

A huge thank you to Elias (I hope I wrote his name correctly )who has been very helpful. His willingness to accommodate our large group made the experience much smoother and more enjoyable. We truly felt welcomed and valued, thanks to his friendly and professional demeanour.

Absolutely terrible restaurant. The service was not existent. There were three tables and still the service was slow and unhelpful. The food was also so bad. The mussels tasted terrible, I didn't even eat them. Told the manager and they did nothing. I would never return.

It's been a few years since I last went to Cluny. I wanted to treat a colleague/friend. The server wasn't that enthusiastic and barely conversed with us. The soup was good, but my meal was meh. Kind of cold. Overall, disappointed. I saw that they had a large group in the private room. Perhaps, this was the reason.

We had brunch with friends. It was a super hot day but inside the temperature was nice and food was great. I would just have liked a bit more natural light inside, but overall was great

The service was outstanding - attentive without being overbearing. Food was good, timely and reasonably priced. Modest, but well-curated wine list. Nice decor in a fun location!

Wonderful experience. Found it a little warm inside, lacking AC. But would highly recommend

overall i was happy, but worth noting the following: we were celebrating a birthday and had mentioned it a few times even when making reservations. The server did not seem to care at all!!! before paying my bill, i reminded him again and he said there's no form of celebration unless i purchased a cake from them then he would write happy birthday on it!!!! anyhow,we were not up for deserts since we had ordered a-lot of food.... Also, while leaving the restaurant we asked a server to take a picture from us she replied by saying “ummmm....ok , but i'm off the clock!!!” that was unprofessional to our ears!!! Lastly, food was great and so was the atmosphere!

Very good food but pricy, excellent service, lovely room. Terrible music—too loud and too intrusive.

The food was incredible. The French Onion Soup was the best we have ever had. Service was top notch Highly recommend

An exquisite experience!! You have try this place and anything and everything on the menu is really, really good!!

Enjoyed bread basket, deep fried asparagus and flat iron steak with frites. Food was wonderful, service was great and a tastefully decorated space to dine. Love dining here when we have a show in the area.

A local from the junction, I went to distillery for the first time in 15 years for my wedding anniversary. We had dinner with 6 courses, wine and cocktails the works! It was fantastic. The new menu with focus on seafood & local products really shined! The new food was spectacular, balanced, and enticing. Im glad to have a new reason to visit the Distillery District again. Service was also lovely and welcoming helping us move from outside to indoors after cocktails and appetizers with ease. Lastly the bread on the bottom of the bourride provençale was the one of the most memorable bites in a long time. Delicious!

My friend and I had a delicious dinner on Cluny's patio before watching the outdoor movie "Howl's Moving Castle" at the ICFF festival. We had a variety of dishes that we shared. Everything was presented beautifully and the service by this young woman was outstanding. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, very private beside a large green hedge. It was perfect. Thanks, A

What a fantastic meal we had! We arrived for Brunch on a beautiful Sunday late morning. Our server, Anil, suggested a few menu items and they did not disappoint. The Kronenberg Rosé (beer) was perfect for a hot day and the Soft Shell Crap Benny was outstanding!! A first time visit for us; but it will not be our last!
