I am sure your bread is excellent Mr. Cobs, but Google shows you as open and serving espresso Sunday morning at 6 am, but actually "no coffee"😞 Please fix!

The service here has been consistently great and welcoming. It's a cozy shop that is often busy when I've popped in around the afternoons.

I love coming to Cobs today in particular. I have a busy day ahead but wanted first dibs on the breaded delights. Did not want to bash them around in my travels before family time on Sunday. They allowed me to purchase what I wanted now & pickup on my way back. Big time & back saver TY Cobs!

I bought a feta and spinach croissant for 5 dollars and didn't get a chance to try it until I made the street car...two thumbs down!!
It was dry, bland and very obviously old from yesterday...never again! This store is a joke! I should have just gotten a burger next door instead-don't bother going here cobs is over priced and bad quality!
I got a small mac & cheese with bacon, a chocolate croissant, lemon bar, one butter tart, and a carrot cake muffin, out of all of it.. maybe the carrot cake muffin was the best. Macaroni and cheese ended up in the garbage, chocolate croissant ended up in the garbage, and the lemon bar I gave away. Nothing really had a whole Lot of flavour, texture wasn’t that great either. Macaroni and cheese was completely dry, again no flavour, a lot of breadcrumbs. Chocolate croissant very little chocolate, again not flaky and flavourless. I don’t know how these guys are staying in business but I was totally disappointed. Personally will not visit again.!

Great service every single visit, courteous and engaging staff always ready to help, making helpful suggestions and offering a taste of new products.
I also witnessed them loading the day’s leftovers into a car to deliver to food banks, so I’m thrilled to give them my business.

Bread is good and always fresh so don't mind that it's a bit pricey- except for the croissants. 4.50 I think for a croissant? Employees are always friendly but I don't like how after I've ordered they ask if I want to buy a scone or hot cross buns etc. if I wanted to I would have ordered them!! They are all on display to see. That's my only complaint. Cinnamon bread is very good!!
** just visited cobs. Bread good as always but again as I'm about to pay I'm asked if I want any treats like a scone etc. I say no thanks. Tells me my total then as I'm about to pay the employee says have you tried our foccia bread as if making one last ditch effort to upsell. It's annoying. It's extra annoying that he became less friendly after I said no. I haven't seen this employee there before. Could have been a manager. Definitely not as friendly as the usual employees I see there.
Yes I will return but I know what I want to order and won't change my mind.

I visited this place three days in a row, and the male staff member yesterday was very friendly. The female employee wasn't very friendly today. Is it because I ordered less?
heavenly scents waft you in... friendly greets from devoted staff... many thanks! the sourdough sunflower/flax seed loaves are a joy - 'heroically' healthy eating ~:0)

The bread I bought wasn't fully cooked. It had raw dough in parts. The peach scone tasted nothing like peach but wasn't bad either. The staff were really nice but not sure I'd visit again. Shame cause they had a decent selection.
