Love hot chocolate here but there are no space to sit because everyone come here with a laptop. Please make no laptop policy as it’s so bad…

Visiting this coffee shop on my way back home. Surprised by how busy it was at Sunday late afternoon. The coffee shop is pretty cozy, it is a little bit small but seating is available. I ordered a mocha with a banana loaf, coffee tasted pretty good with their signature house blend.

I recently visited Coffee Island in downtown Toronto and overall had a great experience. I ordered a latte made with their house blend, and I was really impressed. The coffee was perfectly balanced, super smooth, and had lovely nutty notes that made it enjoyable.
One downside was that they didn't have ceramic cups available due to a broken dishwasher, which was a bit disappointing. The pricing was standard for the area, so that wasn’t an issue.
The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a mostly quiet crowd focused on their work. However, I found the music to be a tad loud for a peaceful experience. The seating is somewhat limited, and the tables are small, which might make it a bit cramped during busy times.
All in all, I’d rate Coffee Island a solid 4 out of 5. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quality cup of coffee in a nice, laid-back environment!

Took 10 minutes to get a small Americano 🤯🤯will just go to Starbucks
Coffee Island is a gem for any coffee lover. They have an impressive selection of beans, which allows you to try a variety of flavors. The coffee is always top-notch—rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The cafe itself has a cozy, intimate vibe, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. Though it's a small space, the warm atmosphere and quality coffee more than make up for it. Definitely a must-visit for anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee!

Super friendly and helpful staff. This cafe is quite busy any time of day but lines move quickly. The matcha latte (without sugar) was refreshing on a hot day. There is a small seating area but best for just 1-2 people per spot.

My go-to café in Toronto. Great coffee with interesting options, and delicious pastries. The staff is welcoming and friendly.
Tried the cold brew and studied there. Environment was chill and warming.

Really nice atmosphere and great coffee. The staff is really helpful in finding the right beans. They also grind the coffee so it suits your brewing method as well.

A very welcoming staff. Small space, but great atmosphere. I had a large latte. The latte was strong, very pleasant, plus they had a well made insulated cup that kept it hot. Total came to $7.78. They were kind enough to give me a free chocolate filled croissant. I didn’t get to eat much because my toddler loved it and finished it. Great experience, and great latte. Top 3 in the city. I’ll definitely come back

The service and atmosphere are good. But the food isn't great sadly. My coffee tasted burnt and my friend's matcha latte was extremely watered down. My scone was ok though
